Jamie Scott is great here. I put off looking for another doctor since my previous doctor at Valley Medical in Amherst was awful. Jamie was the only doctor who had any availability and I had to wait several months to see her but she’s so sweet and empathetic. She’s been nothing but supportive, validating, and genuinely cares about my well being. I didn’t know doctors like her existed. The office itself has a really nice lobby and the medical assistant is a very nice man. Some of the receptionists are not the friendliest but one is very friendly. Their online portal is so thorough and they really keep on top of things. Overall this place is great and Jamie is the best doctor I’ve had. It’s well worth the 20+ minute drive to me.

Great family practice! Love my PCP. She always make me feel comfortable and welcome! And always goes above and beyond to get me in! Never a long wait once there. And I’m usually in and out! Problem solved. Lol. This is A GREAT SMALLER, LOCAL FAMILY PRACTICE/FAMILY PCP. Great location, with ample parking. Staff is always very pleasant and helpful. Never had a bad experience.

Have loved my experience changing to this practice. My nurse practitioner Jamie Scott is thoughtful, caring, responsive, smart. Would recommend highly!!

It is so hard to get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment. Have literally been trying for 3 days no one has called me back. This is a routine occurrence. Sometimes I have given up and had to go in person to walk in and schedule an appt. Needs more staff

Ultimately I ended up changing PCPs and leaving the practice, but my old PCP there Joanne NP, was not up to par. She was very fatphoic towards me. When I would explain preexisting problems before my small amount of weight gain she would blame every issue I was having on my weight and give me no further care. She humiliated me by printing out a wiki how page of “exercise to do at home” when I told her about my chronic pain and asthma. She would not prescribe me inhalers or medications to help with my asthma attacks causing me to go to the hospital multiple times to receive one and a nebulizer. Along with this, I am a trans person and when I asked her if she had resources for trans healthcare and surgeries she was incredibly weird with me and just gave me a printed list of other doctors I could go to. That’s absolutely ridiculous as your PCP should be competent with how your body is functioning, and shouldn’t be fat/transphobic. I expect more from my doctors and it seems as if that other do too considering the poor reviews.

Honestly I would give this place a 0 star rating Anne or whatever her name is she very rude to new patients!! She sounds very unprofessional and takes a very long time to answer the phone when I know there not busy there. we drive by that place a lot and it looks empty for it to be so busy! But anyways this Anne women shouldn’t have a job no more if she not gonna be nice to new patients and ask 24 questions she not very talkative and makes the phone calls feel very awkward! Cooley Dickinson why do u have unprofessional, rude people working at your company and most definitely lazy people working there who don’t like attending to patients in need ?

As far as providers go, things are OK. However, the receptionist Anne is one of the rudest people I’ve spoken to. I’ve had the displeasure of speaking to her before but today my husband had to enter the back entrance for an appointment due to his symptoms. He takes immuno suppression meds for MS and develops chest infections. It’s 24°here and Anne refused to let him in or inform the staff in the back to let him in. They expect you to stand on the stoop of the back entrance until they let you in. We called when we arrived to let them know and Anne tells me to have him wait and someone will come get my husband. It’s freezing out and after a while of nothing I call again and speak to Anne. I confirmed that he was at the correct door and she had the nerve to get annoyed with me. I reminded her that it’s freaking cold out and this man is standing outside with a chest infection. “Well, they’re busy so…” is the response I got. I told my husband that I was driving him to the front and that he was going inside whether they liked it or not. Finally, someone came out and called my husbands name. As a former MA/phlebotomist and LPN in training…Anne’s attitude and “professionalism” is trash…

Worst receptionists ever. I'm over at valley med now and I like them much more. Put in to have my records sent over to valley med and it's been months, still nothing. So now I'm Probley getting all the same tests done on me that South Deerfield did, wasting time, my blood and veins, while dealing with chronic illnesses that south deerfield family care never figured out.
