List of Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates Inc's Reviews
I was treated in the Duxbury office of Plymouth Bay Orthopedics. Kristin, Colin and Jayne made physical therapy enjoyable. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this team to everyone. The front desk personnel were extremely efficient, fun to work with and very personable. Thank you all at the Duxbury office. I’ll miss seeing you and wish you all an enjoyable summer. Jim D
They cost me thousands of dollars ( a workers comp claim) by inadequate receptionists/front end…one of them I was aware was an active IV drug user. The pt manager dave bastian was the only bright side and he is no longer with the company. I would never recommend them and any of their associates

This is my second hip replacement and my second post op therapy session. My first experience 5 years ago was great, everyone did their job to the fullest! This time around was an even better experience! Everyone there was professional, courteous, and paid very close attention to their patients and their needs. I felt very comfortable and confident with them. Cant thank them enough and would always recommend them to all, they know what they're doing and are focused on good results.
If you’re in need of physical therapy Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Assoc. on Tremont St in Duxbury is the practice to go. A welcoming caring & positive atmosphere awaits you along with the skilled professionals needed to help you along your way to recovery.
With bilateral hip & knee replacements necessitated by osteoarthritis, rotator cuff tears and a fractured elbow, I have used the services of PBOA for 12 years. The physicians are personable, knowledgeable and skilled surgeons. The physical therapists do an excellent job to guide the exercises needed to accomplish the desired recovery. I saw Danielle Dunkley most recently for issues occurring after an elbow fracture. I made significant gains under her guidance. The OT/PT Dept. is superb.
Tried setting up an appointment for my broken hand while also having covid. Whoever I spoke to was rude when it came time to figuring out a time. When she asked me if Tuesday worked (since that technically would be five days after I tested positive) I told her it was fine but it'd have to be after 3pm because I had to go back to work. Unfortunately the only time they had was 10am which wouldn't work. So when I asked if she could hold for a second so I could figure everything out I hear her say "How you going to work if you got covid? Duh!" She didn't realize I could hear her apparently. Well I did! Maybe you should find a different job, not dealing with people. Or better yet if you're going to make fun of them put them on mute!

Office staff incredibly rude, degrading, fail to return calls. It seems as though it is a favor to be answering the phones at all. The concept of closed loop communication with patients is foreign to them. Clearly this office would prefer NOT to take patients referred from the local ER if they have workman's compensation. Someone might want to remind them of their Hippocratic oath. Please, send your staff, including the office manager, to customer training classes. Although, since this is not the first time, I doubt much will improve. Wish we had more options locally.
Today I had a visit with LeAnne, PA with Dr. Stanwood for the first time. She was wonderful. As an aside, I discussed a personal issue with her and she could not have been more understanding, comforting and reassuring. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Thank you LeAnne.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
