List of Andrew Lerrick's Reviews
Exceptional Adenoma on my parotid gland Explained what it was, answered numerous questions (he and office staff at UHS were super) and removed the adenoma. Very thorough and exceptionally patient with me.
I was looking for an ENT and knew Dr. Lerrick moved but thought his old office may have other doctors and tried calling. Those numbers are disconnected I am disappointed as I wish I could see him or at least someone that took over his patients. I had been to many doctors and had surgeries for chronic sinus infection and nasal polyps. He was a lifesaver for me because it cleared up my issues and has lasted over 12 years whereas others failed. Finally getting rid of the infection made my life much better. He is an excellent surgeon and will correct everything that needs to be as he is very thorough. I had extensive surgery. My young child also had a minor cosmetic surgery done to remove a tab on his ear which he did only as a humanist, for a small fee. I’m sure it really was not worth his while in time if time is money. I wish he were flying back here to see us. I hope my next ENT for my allergies is at least decent but it is difficult to top Dr. Lerrick.
Dr. Lerrick was very unprofessional. He often used profanity and said sexual undertone comments that were not welcomed. This was my first visit and I will not be going back.
Run- don't walk- away from this doctor. He never stopped talking about himself or other patients. Waited to long to re-biopsy a growth on my tongue, despite the lesion growing, and getting angrier, and painful.( It was on the same side of my face where I had had cancer before) Eight months later and finally removed it in surgery- and the biopsy was cancer. Had he just re-biopsied it when I asked- I wouldn't have a big a chunk out of my tongue where food gets stuck, and a speech impairment. Terrible.
I had a accident I saw 5 doctor's at Lourdes and UHS. Dr. Patrick saw me in the DR and in master of minutes scoped me and found out what my issue was. Very professional caring! I would highly recommend!
Excellent ENT!
I had surgery with Dr. Lerrick, and can agree with these other reviews. He is a danger to his patients. He told me all the wrong things to expect from my surgery, and I have had problems ever since. There is something wrong with this man.
He takes long as he yaps about other patients, hey !! I'm over here!! Told him thyroid pain was brutal after surgery, he told me to wait 6 months to a year.!! Really, really.he has another practice in illinois.xplains alot. Move on.
I too had to wait over 2 hours to see him but I know why. Because he spends more than the usual 10 minutes other Drs. spend with you. He was quite through and answered all my questions. I could care less about his bedside manner as long as he is a great surgeon. I have also not experienced anything out of the ordinary at my appointments. May get a little off subject but again - - who cares as long as he is the best!
I'd been struggling with vertigo for several weeks and not getting any answers about resolving it. Dr. Lerrick spent nearly TWO HOURS discussing my symptoms, reviewing all the other information from the ER, my PCP, audiologist, and PT, and explained thoroughly what was going on and what follow up testing and treatment would be needed. Yes he gets off topic and into some side conversations, and maybe that 2 hour appointment put whoever was after me well behind schedule, but I have to say I found him knowledgeable and was quite satisfied with the level of care and detail that he took, especially when so many other doctors are just in and gone in 5 minutes without really looking at the whole picture of what's been going on.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
