Refused to give me an appointment or talk to Dr Kanaly and referred me to pain management. After explaining I was already a patient and not interested in pain management, staff said if I wasn't interested in pain management there was nothing she could do for me and hung up

Saw stenosis at L4-L5 and immediately suggested laminectomy and a fusion. Both were performed July 2020 with NO RELIEF 2 years later. There is no diagnosis with Dr. Kanaly. He pushes for surgery, complete lack of diagnostic investigation

Dr. Kanaly has basically given me back a pain free life after 15+ years of chronic neck pain, I will be forever grateful. I'm 9 weeks after a C-5-6-7 Cervical Spine Fusion. I realized immediately the difference and after 8 wks PT I'm able to have full rotation of my neck , normal use of my hands, huge improvement in my posture. He spoke at length to me before and after surgery. The follow up care and that of is staff is a 10+ as was the excellent care I received at St Annes Fall River~ J.G. Dale

Dr Kanaly is a miracle worker. I had surgery 20 yrs ago 5 weeks ago had pain going down both legs especially left side. I could not get out of bed. Dr called did a conference on the phone he said I had a cyst against my nerve and wanted to do robotic surgery. 2weeks later I’m in prep room he comes down and talks to me 4 hour surgery he said my back was worse than what the MRI showed. He had to remove cyst then fuse L4/L5 had to rebuild all that area with plates and rods lower L5S1 was full of scar tissue from earlier surgery and he had to put rods to build that up. I am in my 5th week of recovery no more pain in my legs I am actually pain free. Off all the meds and doing tremendous. Thank you Dr you really gave me my life back.

Beware- you will first see a nurse practitioner not the doctor. If the nurse decides you can see the doctor you will need to schedule again; if not , you will not see him. They won't let you know this until you get there. Complete waste of time!

I will be having surgery soon and wanted to give a huge thanks to Ashley. She has been terrific through this whole process.!

The only reason I gave Dr. Kanaly 5 Stars is due to the fact I can't give him 10!!!! I had excruciating pain from stenosis that settled in my groin causing me to bend forward from the waist and unable to stand straight or walk for any distance. For months I was on a combination of oxycodone, THC, and CBD, but received little relief. In addition, whenever I sat for any length of time I would get a sharp stabbing pain when I stood that would drop me to my knees. My PCP recommended I contact Dr. Kanaly. From the outset, Dr. Kanaly's receptionist Ashley handled everything in an expeditious manner. First she scheduled a meeting with PA Danielle (who was terrific) to go over all of my medical records and history of pain. She then scheduled a meeting with Dr. Kanaly who went over my MRI and CAT Scan explaining exactly the type of surgery he would perform and why. Ashley then scheduled my procedure at St. Anne's hospital where Dr. Kanaly operated on my back. Within a couple of days his PA Emily contacted me regarding my progress. It has now been 4 weeks since the surgery and I am pain free!!! I can now strand straight for the first time in 10 months. I am presently doing physical therapy twice weekly without issue. While I was initially hesitant to undergo back surgery with all the horror stories one hears about less than successful results, Dr. Kanaly immediately set my mind at ease with his clear and concise explanations of what I was facing. He then went ahead and performed an outstanding surgery. I would recommend Dr. Kanaly wholeheartedly and without reservation. He and his entire staff are to be commended.
