David Maddock's Online Review Report Card

He was rude never answered a single question. I went there for Gi issues i told Him i was experiencing acid reflux along with stomach pain and said I not here for that? i was so confused and im like well then im not sure I know im getting pain in my stomach and acid reflux. Then he was like we are only talking about the pain im like oh sorry i was notnsure if one could cause the other? no we are here for the pain. I'm like ok im notnsure what to say then ? idk even know what happened at this visit a wait of time out of work and a copay. he was just so rude and did not answer anything . He asked me like 3x whyni was there i didnt know what the right answer was by that point. I said i used to see one regularly before covid and havent been in 3 years so i was trying to get caught up with doctors since covid. i literally left fighting tears with how rude and indirect he was with even answer's.

I could not be more pleased with Dr. Maddock during a recent coloscopy procedure. His team at PrimaCare were excellent in every phase of the procedure. Every person I interfaced with was friendly, knowledgeable, and reassuring.After the procedure, Dr. Maddock spent a good amount of time with me explaining the findings in detail, and answering all of my questions. I would definitely recommend.

He has a great bedside manner, extremely knowledgable and will answer all of your questions. He does have a bit of an accent being from Ireland but is very easy to understand and explains things very well. He works with me to find the best way to treat my UC and takes great notes and prescribes the best treatment.nyo I like that he has a conversation with you and treats me like a person and not just a patient. Would reccomend him to anyone looking for a top notch GI doc. And I'm 37, been in the hospital for this 3 times in a year and half. He is the only doctor that has given me piece of mind :-)

Does not listen to the patient when patient expresses concern or brings up a fact or piece of knowledge or personal experience contradictory to his already cooked up hypothesis. Impersonal and unable to remain open minded to alternative viewpoints and solutions to problems or problem solving (you’d think they would have weeded these people out in medical school, but, here we are). You might as well just let him do all of the talking, he won’t listen to you regardless of what you say and if what you have to say, god forbid, happens to contradict his presumptive notion then prepare to be rudely dismissed. Somebody get this guy in a seminar, people skills: 0/10

I have known Dr Maddock professionally for many years now. He is an excellent physician with superb diagnostic skills and great bedside manner. I routinely refer patients to him. They are always happy with the excellent care he provides. I highly recommend this physician!

Total disregard of patient scheduling . "last minute changes" inconvenience colonoscopy patients, but of course what can you do after prepping for two days? Even if you are on time I have never been seen within 1 hour of reschedule. If you area patient plan on a 6 hour window for you colonoscopy.

Never went to office I had 3 colonoscopy with him very happy

My wife has spent a year with this doctor trying to get rid of H Pylori. She underwent 3 treatments of different antibiotics and two endoscopes to isolate her particular H Pylori. The treatments did nothing but make her ill, and both endoscopes were botched by the pathologist not doing the proper test to isolate her H Pylori. We're going to a different doctor now for the third endoscope, which our insurance will fight us to pay for. This doctor and his staff, who are unfriendly and gather at the window to gab together, are the worse possible.

Dr. Maddock has been my gastroenterologist for many years. He has always been most responsive to my needs, and possesses the expertise and excellent beside manner that I look for in a physician/specialist. He goes out of his way to help his patients.
