Other reviews are accurate, this physician is rude and does not treat her patients with respect. After a brief introduction she asked me “why do you think you need a cardiologist?” Excuse me? My DOCTOR referred me to this office, I did not *request* to be seen by a cardiologist. She did not care to listen or dig deeper with my symptoms. While she may have described my potential abnormalities well, she made sure to point out that echocardiogram results are not always accurate and requested I do another test for more accurate results that way if that test finds nothing wrong I “won’t ever have to come back to this office again.” She made me feel completely invalidated. It genuinely felt like I was bothering her by just being there. I will be asking my primary for a new referral as I never wish to see this physician again.

After a brief introduction she had asked me “what makes you think you need a cardiologist?” Excuse me? You’re the one that read my echocardiogram and then my doctor referred me to this office, so while I don’t think I need to be here, actual professionals think I do. Her bedside manner was neither warm nor comforting. It felt like I was bothering her by just being there. I do not feel like she took any of my symptoms seriously and did not even ask a broad range of questions to check for all symptoms. While she may have explained my potential abnormalities, she also stated multiple times that she doesn’t trust echocardiogram results, as they can be inaccurate. She requested another procedure for further clarification of her finding in hopes that I “never have to come to the office again.” She made me feel so unheard and discouraged. I will be asking my primary for a new referral as I do not wish to see this physician again.

Dr. Rumsey is an excellent heart doctor. My father was a very sick patient of hers. We couldn't have asked for a better doctor. Thank you for your amazing care and knowledge of saving his life! :-)

I don't know how people can say she is rude I been with her for years and never once was she rude. I think she is a great dr.

Horrible doctor! Rude, no people skills whatsoever. Does not listen to patient complaints or concerns. I did not ever complain about chest pains or any heart related symptoms. Scheduled multiple unnecessary tests to verify her own predetermined diagnosis, which was wrong. I would never recommend anyone to go to her, worse medical experience ever!
