Have spent a lot of time here recently. ER staff, 2nd and 3rd floor staffs are all attentive, competent, thorough and professional. All facilities and rooms are very clean and well organized.

I have been a patient three times since September and have been very happy with the care provided by my Doctors (Rumrill and Brake) and the third floor nurses , especially Mary, Caroline, bother Cristina’s and Alyssa. Housekeeping and Food Services were also great. I have no complaints.

I had a MRI of my lower back this morning. This is the 11th mri I have had since 2005.The two ladies that were doing the mri's this morning were not nice at all. I have severe dergenitive disk disease level 4 an I am in chronic pain 24hrs a day.They treated me not nice what so ever.i personally think that they should not be doing mri's on anyone that is in pain because they couldn't care less.i know compassionate people when I met them and they are not. Don't yell at me After you make me put ear plugs in my ears and put on airline noise canceling headphones and don't understand why I can't hear you. I couldn't believe she was that upset. crazy to say the least. Kevin Macdonald

Spent hours waiting then to be told he will only give me 2 pain meds to last a week till i see my Dr even though I was in excruciating pain. Waste of time and money. Had to go to a different er

This hospital as well as cape cod hospital located in hyannis are the worst of the worst. They throw random diagnoses at you without considering family history of any health issues or even allergies or medical concerns you may have. You can sit there and tell these doctors hey I’m not willing to take certain things due to family addictions and they will complain about it in written notes. They will give family a tough time and zero insight or information about how you may be doing, and will even ignore requests made by loved ones. Cape cod health care is trash and I’m thankful everyday I’m away from that dump and finally have a doctor who listens to medical concerns. Stay away from here if you can.

A large helpless Urgent Care or Nursing Home! Go elsewhere!

I went into the ER having suffered from a seizure. They refused to let my fiancé or his sister come back with me, and I was nervous having been there by myself for the first time, and only being 19 years old. Also, they did a spinal tap on me, saying that they were checking me for meningitis of which this procedure was not needed seeing as I came in because of a seizure. They did nothing to help me with the seizure and I left with them telling me that I never had a seizure. I came back to the ER the next day, because I had been throwing up for an hour and 30 minutes straight because of the spinal tap, the doctor had drawn too much fluid from my spine and it had left me in a mess. I was bedridden for two weeks could not sit up could not eat or drink anything for two weeks and I am still suffering from those side effects of the spinal tap about 3 to 4 months later
