List of Lisa M. Taylor's Reviews
Lisa is a phenomenal doc. the issue i have is with her affiliation with BID (beth isreal/deaconess. It is no longer a nice place to visit. Regimented and structured. I went two places to get my bloodwork done, near where i live. when I called and waited on the phone (7th person in line on phone) they said come to the appt without the bloodwork, but you can get it at BID in Sandwich rt 130. I live in Falmouth. I filled out my check-in paperwork online. But got to my appointment late. They wouldnt take me. I could come back later in the day. There was no one waiting in the waiting room. it was 20 past 9am. I've been her patient for 10 years or so. Too bad.
Have been a patient of Dr Lisa Taylor's for five years. I find her to be exceptionally interested in my healthcare. I have experienced a number of unexpected health crisis and she is always responsive personally. She has directed me to several very good specialists as the need has arisen. Her NP is also excellent and her entire staff is outstanding. I thank them all for their help on many occasions.
In the three years or so that I have been a "patient" of Dr. Taylor, I have seen her once! I always just get her Nurse Practitioner. They hound you to make appointments, and want you to retake blood work that you just had done for another doctor. They even threaten to withhold medicine unless you agree to come in for an appointment, even though the blood work that was just performed showed no change in the condition that the medicine is for! This place is nothing but a money making racket! Avoid!
This doctor is my primary physician and the most thorough doctor I have been treated by. I know doctors. My daughter is a surgeon in Oregon. I don't have any procedure done until Dr. Taylor tells me who should do it.
Not sure what is going on with her office. I have been her patient for 3 years...became hard to get an appointment with her. I was scheduled for my annual exam with her NP, who left, then they put me on a waitlist to get in and I have never heard back in the last 7 weeks. I do not recommend this office.
Dr. Taylor by far is one of the best doctors. She takes the time and listens clearly to your concerns, symptoms, worries. Great bed side manner and puts you at ease. Not to mention the labs are in house. Great team!
I am leaving this practice and very much looking forward to an experience with a new PCP. Out of the 6 times I have visited this office in the last 2 years ,I have only met with her once . The NP did not seem competent or confident in her position. I met with Dr Taylor for the first time today and she had a poor bedside manor. She was condescending , rushed ,and didnt care about anything I said. After a 30 minute drive ,a $30 copay and a 10 minute visit, I found the visit insulting.
I like Dr Taylor however the Nurse Practitioner in this office does not seem especially competent or intelligent. I will only go to this office to see the Dr. and will not accept appointments with NP.
Dr. Taylor and her staff have always been professional and helpful. Anytime I have needed to schedule or reschedule my appointment they have been prompt and accommodating. I would recommend this practice to my friends and family.
Dr. Taylor is poorly prepared when seeing for follow up. She has been foul mouthed, unprofessional and rude. Her nurse practitioner is not very bright and a registered nurse could easily play her role with more competence. I do not feel safe going to this practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
