Honestly, this is my second visit with them and thankfully have had a great experience. I drive about 1 hour and 15 minutes to come here. They are gentle and thorough with explaining and answering all your questions. The place is beautiful and very clean. I love that they focus on one patient at a time , so it’s not chaos when you’re there. It has been amazing for me and hope to continue my care here.

I can't recommend Dr. Shen highly enough. I am a mother to a nine-year-old boy. I do my best to ensure his teeth are maintained well -- but due to developmental issues, mouth breathing and probably missing a scheduled cleaning, I was told my son had a deep cavity in a permanent molar and may need a root canal. I knew I needed to do everything to avoid this if at all possible (and, if it wasn't possible, of course, I would get him a root canal, but I wanted to do my best to avert that outcome for him knowing the potential long-term negative consequences). I researched all the possible newest technology and methods and determined there are progressive options out there that would give him the best chance at success. I had a consultation with another (highly recommended) holistic dentist in my area, but despite that I live in the New York City area, I could not find one that met my needs. Dr. Shen ticked every box -- employing the latest and most holistic and most gentle technology from pain relief to ozone to hard tissue lasers (for both removing cavities as well as cleaning out the area) and PRF (growth factors from your own blood) and the best choice of materials (for high performance and low toxicity). In addition, she took the time to quickly and thoroughly answer all of my questions (and I had many!). She also works with children and knows how to manage them (my son was not easy). The end result? My son was able to avoid a root canal! Dr. Shen did a fantastic job and I'm so happy I found her practice. I am so impressed that I am driving 5 hours again to have all my amalgam fillings replaced by her, despite the fact that there are many holistic dentists in my area who could perform this task. As an aside, what a gorgeous office! Thank you, Dr. Shen and all the staff at VIVA Dental Care!

Very high tech, affordable and friendly. Best dentist I've been to. The ceiling mounted TVs were a plus. Highly recommend.

Dr Shen and her staff are very caring people I had four silver fillings take it out of my mouth. The care and the work they did that day with top notch. I recently went back and had my teeth whitened. I am never ever seen them so white. I would recommend her to everyone.

Brand new beautiful clean facility. I got a tour of the state of the art machines and all the rooms and what they are used for. First time visiting as an anxious patient. All my worries slowly faded. Dr Shen was really calming and reassuring. She knew her stuff and explained in simple detail what any issues were and how to proceed if needed/wanted. (Not pushy at all) I highly recommend Viva Dental!

This office gets a 10 star review in my opinion. I called this morning with an emergency and the took me right in. DAN the manager and dental tech was so polite and excellent at his job. He put me at ease immediately with his demeanor. Maria the XR tech was absolutely wonderful and thorough -Doctor NAQVI was just incredible!! Extremely knowledgeably, patient and friendly. Really took her time. I had the $49 starter and it’s the best $49 you will ever spend. They have the newest technology and was in awe of the gadgets. I was in medicine for many years - this office has it all. They were all fantastic and Doctor went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Thank you all for saving my hide. See you Monday!

I travel down from Maine to see Dr Kelly and his staff… worth every mile! Best care, no reason to switch to a dentist closer to where I currently live. I was phobic about dentists until I found Dr Kelly. Now I’m no longer afraid to have dental work done.

Dr. Shen is wonderful! I can’t say enough nice things about her. I recently met her and have been using Invisalign under her care. She is so thorough and really takes the time to explain every aspect of care with me. We are in contact on a weekly basis and I look forward to our appointments. I’ve already noticed a change in my smile only 1 month into treatment and I’m excited to see the finished result! Prior to meeting Dr. Shen I was a patient at the same dental practice for 15 years. I decided to transfer all my care to Dr. Shen’s practice as I couldn’t be happier with her. The office is very clean and has such a warm, comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend trusting Dr. Shen with your dental needs!

Ok I never thought in a million years I'd write a rave review for a dental office but this business is exceptional. EVERYONE in the office from the assistant to the doctor are so customer service oriented! I've always had a great experience at a business that pays a lot attention to details. I can't even begin to describe ALL the details but I'll try... Reception area: immaculate modern comfortable, they offer coffee, tea, water & even juice boxes for the kiddos. Treatment rooms: über clean new latest equipment, prime video streaming and Spotify with noise canceling headphones, dentist actually spends time with you & checks for oral cancer (it's surprising but not all dentists do this). Warm towels, blankets, chapstick for dry lips, and you get to choose a floss of the flavor you like! From the staff to the dentist they try to get to know you. You don't leave feeling like a number or worse $ (which I have experienced in other offices). This will be my family dentist even if we move out of the area! They would be worth the drive. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit If it's not already obvious...I highly recommend this dental spa!
