List of Rose L. Cesar's Reviews
Dr Cesar had been my GI for four years. In December I called her with concern about increasing pain from what my PCP initially diagnosed as hemorrhoids (recently, now eight months later, surgery has revealed it was a much more serious and rare issue). I explained to her that I was unable to sit or work or do my daily activities. Dr Cesar dismissed my pain as “subjective” (her exact words) and said she could schedule to see me for an exam in a month. I asked what she would advise her other patients who reported the level of pain & infirmity I was experiencing, & she replied that she had not had other patients report this. When I finally saw Dr Cesar, she gave me incorrect instructions about how to proceed (that caused more pain & I believe contributed to lack of healing), which a different, better provider recently corrected.
Dr. Cesar is very kind, but she is not at all curious or very helpful. She has never make an effort to look into my symptoms or condition and has provided very little insight. Basically, she is a doctor you can see to fill prescriptions, and you will likely have to research which medications you should be on as well because she seems to make minimal effort in that area as well. I'm quite sad that I spent as much time seeing Dr. Cesar as I did.
I just want to share that I feel Dr. Cesar and the staff at Baystate Franklin Medical Center are SUPERB! So caring and thoughtful! I was extremely anxious about my procedure today. However, what is usually not a great experience, (colonoscopy) was in my opinion extremely tolerable. I am a colon cancer survivor and I just cannot put into words how AMAZING this experience was for me! Thank you so much!
I would highly recommend Dr, Cesar. She is a smart, nice person who knows what she is doing and seems to demand the same for all who she works with and for - hopefully she will be there for many more years. I felt totally relaxed with her ability and her overall person that she is. She is straight forward and does not hesitate to check things out to her liking!
I am so thankful to have Dr. Cesar as my GI. She is exceptional - knowledgeable, understanding and thorough. You will be lucky, indeed, if you choose her!
Fantastic Doctor
Dr Cesar is one of our Life's heroes. Without her dedication & persistence my very expensive medication would not have been approved. Her care & medical knowledge is exceptional. ( Highly Recommend Dr Cesar ) B & K
If you are seeing anyone else for gastro problems, you are wrong.
I have seen Dr. Cesar, she bashed Cooley Dickinson , upon my comment of using this hospital for colonscopy. I have been at both hospitals, Cooley Dickinson lobby staff offered me wheelchair to the xray dept. after seeing my fatigue level on 100 degree day. has parking attendants, all inclusive friendly cafe, hallway seating, many more specialist, new buildings, detailed care by MD's,more services. friendly staff,, caring.. I received ada award for disabled.35 yrs.
Got an appointment scheduled within a week of calling which was followed by an upper and lower endoscopy and 2 MRI’s along with a follow-up visit all occurring in the time it would’ve taken for me to get my first appointment with my previous GI. Dr. Cesar called me as late at 8pm to fill me in on test results go over a treatment plan and discuss further testing. Office staff is always kind and understanding.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
