Dr. Jessica Dacus was terrific. She explained things well and directly. On the other hand, the handling of my case took days and involved multiple people before I could have an urgent issue addressed. As a result we missed a window for when prophylactic care could be effective. Now I just hope that there were no long term consequences resulting from the unnecessary, preventable delay.

Dr Dacus is everything one could hope for in a primary care physician. She is knowledgeable. She listens and never seems in a hurry. She seems very adept at the procedures she performs, for example when she drained fluid from my elbow. And perhaps most important, she is a genuinely kind person. I would only wish there were more doctors like her!

My last visit was supposed to be a complete physical. Dr. Dacus told me that she didn't think Medicare would cover it but I found out that they do cover it. Not only that but my other insurance also covers it. So I had a brief check-up and I'm not hurrying back until I have a fever and a cough so there will be no doubt in her mind that I should have a complete physical.

Dr. Dacus is a gift to Hadley Family Medicine. She's extremely devoted to medicine, but not only that, she looks at the bigger picture and will do everything in her power to make sure your health needs are met. She's smart and figures things out quickly - and if there's something out of the ordinary that stumps her, she will go above and beyond to figure it out quickly. She follows through, follows up with patients, she's easy to make appointments with. If you have her as a doctor, you know you have an asset in your life, a professional who is invested in you being healthy and taken care of when you're not. Excellent doctor with the ethics you would want in a PCP.
