After finishing PT I still had the same symptoms in my left shoulder so I scheduled a follow-up appt with Dr. Rynne to see where to go from here. Right from the start he came off very impatient and irritated which lasted through out the short appointment I had. I left with no helpful answer and dealt with this shoulder problem for the next year until I saw another doctor who discovered it was a long thoracic nerve injury. I understand doctors aren't the solve-all hope but Dr. Rynne could at least use a lesson in compassion and patience.

My first appt. at South Shore Orthopedics was with Dr. Rynne, what a a great experience it was. Not only was I able to see him on the day that I called, but he was what all doctors should aspire to be. He was patient; listened to my symptoms instead of dismissing them, was inquisitive; asked what and when things happened and was informative. He got me an appt. for an ultrasound within a half hour, and called me back within a half hour of having it to tell me the results. I was highly impressed.

He never took notes or made a file. Each time we saw him it was like we were a new patient. I had to tell him several times about the tests that he recommended and that we had already done them. I don't doubt his intelligence he just can't be a doctor and a physician assistant. He should have someone in the rooms with him taking notes for him. South Shore Orthopedics has the worst wait time!

Dr. Rynne is a wonderful and most caring doctor. I look forward to seeing him again soon. He is highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing. I cannot even fathom that the negative reviews on here are about the same person. Great at explaining things, impeccable attention to detail, extremely through, and considerate of the "whole patient", not just the limb/joint/injury. I've seen many doctors over many years, would can say without hesitation that he's among the very, very best. I drive many extra miles to see him, despite the fact that other world-renowned Boston-area facilities are much closer to where I live. So surprising for me to see negative reviews for this guy from ANYONE. Very odd.

He does not spend enough time with you. He did not even speak to my 11 y/o. Never greeted her. He was running out the door half explaining his decision after a 60 second appointment. It has been 2 weeks with 2 phone calls and one visit to the office and I still have no answers back about her back X-ray. He clearly does not care if he doesn't need to operate and make money. Would never recommend. Sorry! I have been a nurse for 17 years I expect more of a physician.
