Cape Cod Hospital Obgyn's Online Review Report Card

I visited here yesterday and saw Kate Thompson. The staff here were so kind and accommodating when I called the day before and needed to schedule an urgent problem visit, as I have a chronic condition. Even though I had not been in for a couple of years, I was treated like I never left their care. Kate was nothing short of exceptional. In minutes, she had a care plan ready for me and I felt so relieved! Kate has a calm and peaceful presence which is great for me, as I have a lot of anxiety at any OBGYN due to my chronic condition and repeated visits to many OBGYN's over the years. Not all have been great experiences for me, but I can confidently say that this is one of the best OBGYN's I have ever been to. It is not easy for any medical staff to remain so positive and calm in a bustling and stressful environment, but this team does a fantastic job at putting patients at ease. The building is also clean, easy to navigate, and all the staff, including the front desk staff, are all very friendly and positive. It is obvious that they care about people here. Please keep in mind when visiting that they are very busy and are trying their hardest to give you a great experience while meeting the extraordinarily demanding needs of our insurance companies. A little compassion goes a long way! I highly recommend this practice for anyone on Cape Cod in need of OBGYN care.

They had to reschedule my first prenatal care appointment 3 times in a row…

I forgot just how unfriendly this hospital can be my wife is having surgery.The length of surgery is five hours long she won’t get out till after visiting hours they said I won’t be able to see her after the surgery unless I get special permission from the nursing station what the hell and they wonder why the reviews are so low☹️

I haven’t delivered here yet but all my appointments have been great. Minimal wait times, really nice staff, and easy communication with the My Chart app.

I have a fractured. They admitted me over night for pain management before surgical consult in the morning. They only have 1 admitting doctor for pain medication and Dr. Lim has refused to provide ANY substantial pain management for my knee or my normal pain medication for an open wound I have been on. I have asked for a different doctor and have been refused. I have also asked for a form to file a complaint and have been stalled and not helped to do so.

This office and staff have been nothing but excellent and professional. I’ve had baby #3 in 2021 with them and now back for 4th. Scheduling is easy, Karen at the front desk is so nice and every provider I have seen have made my pregnancies go smoothly especially Dr. Lupton. I’m happy to be a patient here.

Dr. Lupton is wonderful. Attentive. Professional. Intelligent and caring. I have had some problems and he seamlessly has taken care of my concerns. I had an incident happen and informed him and he handled it with grace, compassion and great advice. Highly recommend.

Our first daughter was delivered at CCH in 2019 and our second daughter 1 month ago. I cannot speak highly enough about the compassionate and informative care delivered by the nursing staff during our stay at CCH. Dr. Chute is an outstanding surgeon with exceptional surgical skills and a comforting bedside manner. My wife also loved her experiences with other clinicians prior to her deliveries. The pediatric hospitalist service was top-notch too. We are extremely fortunate to live near a great hospital. As a medical provider, I know how hard it has been to practice medicine during this pandemic, and CCH has delivered the same level of high quality care to my family before and during the pandemic. Thank you.

This office never picks up the phone on a regular basis, the worst occasion for me was when I left a voicemail saying I needed a referral for what I thought was the start of PPD and never received a phone call back which is unbelievable as this was something so serious that could have put me and my newborn baby in a lot of danger. I sought help somewhere else because my health was more important than them but this is something that should have never happened!

Don’t have your baby at this hospital and switch providers as soon as you can. They rush you out the door, they are rude, don’t tell you what to expect walking into the appointment, and simply don’t care. I switched to Beth Israel.
