List of Harbor Community Health Center Hyannis's Reviews
This place is a joke. I’ve been trying to schedule my physical for 7 months and they canceled on me without calling or leaving message. One time I got sick and had to reschedule my appointment. I waited 45 minutes just to get someone on the phone. They had nothing available for another month so I took the first available day and when I arrived they told me that they never put it on the calendar even though I confirmed it. I will never return to this place. I do not recommend it. Time to find a different primary care doctor!
They don't know what they are doing
After arriving to get blood work drawn I walk back sign my name and hit the bell there was one other persons name on the list but was over an hour and just one person in the waiting room. After sitting here listening to the nurses chit chat about nothing I look over at the one other woman and said are you waiting? She said yes I’ve been here over an hour. I got up and asked if they were drawing blood to which they stated yes I said ok well this woman has been out here over an hour waiting to which another nurse rudely stated I just watched you walk in. The woman waiting looked at me and said I was going to get up and say something myself because I have been sitting here listening to them talk and not work forever. I then stated to the nurse people who come here to get blood work usually have health issues or not feeling well including myself who has been extremely sick unable to get out of bed for weeks and unable to eat or drink. Apparently the woman with the rude comments and behaviors name is Beverly who runs the Quest diagnostics.
This clinic has absolutely terrible customer service and has been extremely difficult to work with. Wait times to talk to someone on the phone are always long, with an automated countdown system that quotes wildly inaccurate times. There was one time I had an appointment after we had had a lot of snow, so I called ahead to make sure the clinic was still open. Their internet information indicated they were open, I had a text from the day before confirming my appointment, and someone I talked to on the phone at the call center that very morning confirmed they were open. I drove an hour to get to my appointment to find a sign on the door that they were closed. Shouldn't their own call center be aware of this? If they can text me to confirm appointments, how hard is it to reach out to tell me my appointment has been cancelled? This is just one story of many similar experiences with them. There is also a limited time window for being able to call and make appointments, and often times there are none to be had. I had a filling fall out right after I had it put in, and when I called to have someone look at it I was told I couldn't see a dentist about it for a month. No one seems to care, and the staff is generally rushed and unfriendly. The one good thing I will say is that I appreciate the care I've received from my nurse practitioner - but honestly, if you have a choice, save yourself a lot of frustration and pick another clinic, whether for medical or dental. I can't wait to transfer somewhere else.
Been using them for years now and they use to be a great clinic! But now their customer service is terrible, it takes sometimes hours to get to speak with someone to get an appointment and they would schedule it weeks out and either change it or cancel the day before, not to mention the dental clinic that is even worst. I’ve had an appointment for 3 weeks now that was an “emergency” and they rescheduled it for a different time only 2 hours before my original appointment and didn’t even contact me for it, i’ve changed my work schedule to be able to go to the appointment and I obviously wasn't able to make it to the time they had rescheduled, the person over the phone couldn’t see my original appointment and said he couldn't do anything about or explain to me why it was changed, its just terrible, now I had to cancel the appointment. Not to mention all the other bad experience I’ve had before. I just had enough.
Dr Gil certainly knows dentistry!
Shanelle is the best customer service rep.
I am so happy with my teeth cleaning! The lady that cleaned my teeth really took her time to get in every krux it has been such a long time since i got that much care since i've been cleaning my teeth as a child.
The pharmacy has now called me 5 times and texted me 4 times to tell me that they have new curbside hours. I do not care since I don't use that. I used it once and sat in my car for an hour, waiting for someone to bring out my meds. The whole process took almost 2 hours when my pharmacy is 10 minutes down the road from me. It's really pathetic when I have to block my doctor's phone number so they stop harassing me. The call center reps are the rudest and least knowledgable people I have ever spoken to. So disappointed with this office.
Atendimento pessimo. Falam uma coisa, fazem outra, marcam consulta e depois desmarcam, falam que a prescriçao esta pronta para ser retirada e depois nao esta. É muito dificil.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
