James R. Burke's Online Review Report Card

Still in shock over the way I was treated by Dr. Burke...I won't get into details, but, yes, arrogant and condescending and I felt the urge to run out of the room. I am not stopping here. He needs to retire.

I think Dr. JIM BURKE needs to retire. He is rude, yells over you, ready to argue, doesn’t listen, mean, arrogant, zero interest in treating you just walks angrily around in circles repeating his name I’M DR JIM BURKE. The guy scared me to be honest so I left and went to the er at the hospital. There is something very wrong with this man.

Dr Burke was a very good listener and was Very Helpful . He Spent a lot of time listening to my concerns and recommended a specialist for follow up ear issues. I would definitely recommend Dr Burke.

Doctor Burke did an excellent job getting my stitches out. I didn’t have to wait and he was extremely pleasant to deal with.

I saw Dr. Burke at the Urgent Care in Sandwich for a uti. He made me feel instantly better by his kindness and attentiveness. He even looked up my old records and was able to find what I was on before. Not every doctor goes beyond, and made me confident in his decision. I got my medication at the stoneman pharmacy and only had to wait 2 minutes! I was so glad to be able to start my medication right away.

I saw Dr. Burke for something in my eye I couldn't remove myself. He immediately numbed my eye so I could have some comfort, and then proceeded to remove the object from under my lid. I was obviously worried about any damage that might happen to my eye and he was very reassuring, and gave my the name of a specialist to see if anything got worse. I felt so much better after I was seen. Facility and staff were all great. Would highly recommend!

I am 60 years and have been the health care field myself for 30 years, I have never met a more abrupt, rude, arrogant, and condescending doctor as Dr. Burke. Zero bedside manner! Even though the staff was pleasant and professional, I will never go back to Stoneham Urgent Care Center.

Dr. Burke reminds me of Dr. John Lewis, the family doctor for whom the Stoneman Medical Clinic was originally named. Dr. Burke treated me, not as a stranger he might never see again, but as a family doctor would. More importantly, he looked beyond the reason I came, and found a more pressing issue that sent me to C C Hospital ER. Evidently, I had had this problem for some time, been to several doctors, but it took Dr. Burke to find it. Dr. Burke is smart, caring and kind. He’s 5+ stars.

I have been to the Walk in clinic and I had the unfortunate experience to have seen Dr Burke , he was very rude I felt like he didn't have time for me he told me before even seeing me that I should have gone to my primary care he spoke over me, he then stated to me do you see the patients in the waiting room as if I wasn't sick , there were no other patients, I would never refer any one he was so unprofessional I left in tears without being treated . He seemed more interested in the staff.

This physician did not take any time to understand my reason for coming into urgent care. He did not examine me and gave me approx. 2 minutes of his time before he called me sweetheart and told me to go and see my primary care doctor. Very disappointing & inappropriate.
