To start, Jillian went above and beyond to inform Dr. Brooks on my behalf about all the pain and other symptoms I was having even though she informed me he wasn't taking on any new patients. To my suprise, Jillian called me back within an hour to inform me Dr. Brooks would see me right away.I had called two other doctors after speaking with her and they would not see me for months. I just want to let her know that her act of kindness did not go unnoticed. Thank you Jillian I saw Dr.Brooks with no wait time. It was refreshing to see a Dr. with a great bedside manor. He was very caring and willing to take the time to find out what was causing all my pain and answer any questions I might have. He informed me what he thought was going on and ordered a series of tests. The next day all the tests were schedule for me becauses he wanted them done as soon as possible with all the backup of testing with Covid. I don't know what's going on yet with the results of my CT scan with IV contrast since the test was only done yesterday, but at least I know if there is something serious or even minor going on Dr. Brooks will find it. I wish more people would take the time to right nice reviews when they have a good experience and not take it for granted. When you are online searching for a new doctor or medical provider, it's amazing how few reviews there are when they see 100's of patients a year. There have been times that I sent a hand written note to a doctor, and to my surprise some never received one in their entire career, which to me is very sad. If people would only take the same amount of time to write a good review as they do a bad review maybe we would see and learn something about the people who care for us. Think about that the next time you post a review. With Covid, use this time to praise acts of kindness and never take medical care for granted. Treat people as you would like to be treated.

We met Dr Brooks when he was called into the hospital to do an emergency surgery to insert a stent in an artery and to remove a piece of necrotic small intestines. He and Dr Dumbrowski took great care of my husband. My husband is in need of more surgeries and Dr Brooks is our man! He has great bedside manner and we’re on first name basis with the office staff!

Dr. Brooks is a phenomenal surgeon...his knowledge is unsurpassed! He saved my life, and I sincerely mean that, twice !! The knowledge used in diagnosing your situation is refreshing ! You do not get answers by staring at a computer screen. Too many Drs. today do not know how to absorb the symptoms you present with and the verbal information you give, put that information together and ask their own additional questions..then order tests ...put it all together and you have a diagnosis. This is what I found with his diagnostic abilities. My children have also gone to him and he has been able to address their issues as well, in the same manner. Besides being brilliant, he has an unbelievable bedside manor...you would be hard pressed to find someone more polite, understanding and willing to answer your many questions. If I needed a Dr., he would be one I would consult with first to find out where and who he would recommend.
