Very professional and knowledgeable, staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. They always make feel comfortable during my appointment. The office is always clean and organized with plenty of seating and they have a blood testing lab on site making it very convenient.

Wow! What a horrible receptionist! Rude! The second she answers the phone she has an attitude! So I had an issue the my mothers in law’s insulin. Running dangerous low. So for three days we have this back and forth calling the doctor to fax script over. Waiting three hours and calling pharmacy. Pharmacy says they received nothing. This goes on for two days. So on the third day we call the pharmacy again. This time they have the script but they said it was sent incomplete! With no instructions so the pharmacy did not fill it and said they reached out to the doctor with no success. So again we call the doctor. The receptionist rude again! We explained the situation about how the pharmacy would not fill an incomplete script. She just was not listening at all! Said the only way the script was wrong is if WE gave the wrong information! The situation then escalated into the raising of voices out of frustration and the total lack of listening skills! So now she is accusing of false information being given! Well the doctor gets on the phone and looks further into the script and low and behold no instructions was written the the script he signed! Also the doctor is diabetic himself!

Been going to dr. Epstein for 12 years now. He’s the best.

The first time seeing him He was a great listener and answered all my questions. Upon return visits, Epstein became uncaring, didn't listen, didn't perform or recommend certain test. I, on my own, scheduled test because my ins. doesn't require a referral and my test came back with positive results that have been affecting my health that Epstein said was "part of getting older"! I would not recommend him to anyone that has health issues.

Wouldn't recommend this doctor or facility to anyone. Their office lost all of our records, forgot about an appointment I'd had scheduled for over a year, and when I called them and complained, I got certified mail saying that I been "discharged" from their medical office -- without any conversation with the doctor himself; just a note with his signature. This, during a pandemic no less! Also had to call every month to have my depression medication prescription filled; wasn't automatic. AVOID.

He is very understanding and kind. He will go out of his way

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. James Mugford for 10 years now, and he is also my kids pediatrician for the last 6 years. Always caring, understanding and honest. Makes us feel comfortable with every visit!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! I was supposed to be a new patient there, the day before my appointment I get a phone call saying to be aware that the staff is on lunch from 12-1 and since my appointment was at 1, the door could be locked. So I made it a point to come around one, hit a little traffic and showed up at 1:09. Apparently that was 2 mins passed their 7 min window (which no one informed me of) and I would have to reschedule. I mentioned the situation and was told with a ridiculous attitude “you’re lucky the doctor is even letting you reschedule because we don’t usually reschedule new patients for missing the appointments” and that’s when I left. I have NEVER seen anything like that before! Absolutely terrible and apparently customer service isn’t something they teach anymore!

The care and compassion that this office provides is superb. They go above and beyond. Would recommend to anyone!

Great doctor cares about his patients ask if your ok , this is the type of good doctor , he cares about my health which makes me feel safe that I have a Doc that cares. Sincerely . Herminio Gonzalez
