I would give a zero star rating if I could. The lack of professionalism from the child that works in the office is astounding! Doctor was very personable. Had no problems with past procedures but this person is so unpleasant I am moving on. Dr. Sawyer you should seriously consider getting rid of her. It's definitely affecting your business!

Dr Sawyer is amazing! He took such great care of my son! Highly recommend!!!

He Called me from a private number.. Never met him.. Scheduled a procedure my dr didn't order. Girl on phone was so rude. Said she was the boss. Name was Jen. Canceled procedure after speaking with her. Would have cancelled anyway. As he never met me or spoke to ANY of the Drs on my team before scheduling an unneeded procedure. AWFUL

Rude staff; wrong environment for a nasty attitude! I would not recommend to anyone looking for actual care . You're better off being seen by a zookeeper

Very nice and caring Dr. Explained everything and was friendly. I had him 10 years ago and would never go to anyone else. Staff at outpatient was also extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable .

I have no problem with Dr. Sawyer. He has always been professional, knowledgeable and willing to spend time with the patient. I would have preferred to continue with him. However, my interaction on the phone with a woman in his office has made that impossible. She was the single most rude and unprofessional person that I have ever dealt with in such a capacity. I have cancelled my appointment with the Doctor and cannot, in good conscience, continue to utilize his services. I am sorry.

Dr Richard Sawyer has been gastroenterologist for over 15 years. He is knowledgeable, kind, professional and efficient. My family had a history of colon cancer so I have a colonoscopy every 3 years. Dr Sawyer and staff make a rather unpleasant procedure as pleasant ad possible! I appreciate them all!!!

Dr. Sawyer waited until today @4pm to leave me a voicemail stating that “if I has my Covid test results I can go to the hospital, otherwise, not. That was one day before my colonoscopy and endoscopy. When I asked him why I was notified so late, instead of apologizing, he argued with me saying that his office did call me. I told him, not only they never did, but I had to call his office to inquire about the endoscopy because they only mailed me the colonoscopy info and that is when I am told that both procedures would be done the same day. When I told him that I was in distress, I had spent the whole day on a liquid diet, already had taken the laxatives and the magnesium, plus had to find someone to pick me up at the hospital, and couldn’t take my meds, he kept saying that his office informed me, when his voicemail clearly shows he just found out and that’s why he called me 4 times between 2:30pm-4pm from an unknown number. I would hate to see another patient to go through this.

After a colitis diagnosis he told me that I might never go the bathroom again. If I had stayed under his care, that would have been the end result. It's a good thing I went to Boston to someone who knew what he was doing.

Dr. Sawyer is awesome! He is highly regarded in his field and well respected, and treats his patients with kindness and respect. The staff who assists at Holy Family is great as well. I am giving 5 stars for that reason, however his office staff is unprofessional and extremely rude. I was so unsettled by her, or as she identifies herself as the Office Manager that I cancelled my procedure. She is the rudest person on the planet. My doctor rescheduled the appointment for me, and told me that she too had issues with her.
