Dr Geist is very knowledgeable and the staff proficient. Only complaint is that the basil cell he removed from my scalp was not large but the hole was. He did to he MOH procedure which allows them to take smaller samples until they confirm good margins. His first cut was very large and didn't require any further cutting. I was told he had 4 or 5 that morning alone. Could this have influenced the size of the incision?

From beginning to end, Dr. Geist and the staff were exceptional. They all did their best to make my procedure as pleasant as possible. All my concerns were addressed and I was given the support I needed during my recovery.

I had a bad laceration on my hand which healed over time, but then became inflamed, was quite painful and would not heal. Dr. Geist explained all the possibilities including cancer and we both agreed that a biopsy should be performed. After three days, Dr. Geist called me to inform me that there was no cancer and that it was most likely an inflamed cyst. He advised me to let it resolve on its own and check back with him in a month or so. Dr. Geist is an excellent doctor. He explains things very well and keeps you in the loop. He has performed three successful MOHS surgeries on me and I highly recommend him for any skin issues you may have.
