Dr Umlas provided a very thorough exam and explanation of my condition --- I absolutely left the appointment feeling confident with his diagnosis. He also spent ample time explaining options along with the pros/cons of each. I am extremely pleased with my entire experience/appointment at Lexington Eye and I highly recommend Dr Umlas.

I saw Dr. Umlas today for a conjunctivitis. He was caring, thorough and knowledgeable. He kindly squeezed me into a busy schedule, as I needed to be seen today. He took the time needed to explain everything carefully to me. Excellent ophthalmologist.

I have been seeing dr Umlas for more than ten years. I can always count on a thorough examination and careful diagnosis. Yes there is a wait at times but that is due solely to his caring bedside manner combined with his desire to treat each patient as respectfully as possible. It's great to have a highly skilled md follow you over the years as your vision changes and in my case spot small items before they become more serious
