List of Deborah J. Hoadley's Reviews
Dr. Hoadley has saved my life! She takes the time that is necessary to evaluate me and prescribes as appropriate. Lyme disease and associated tick born diseases are not cookie cutter diseases with cookie cutter treatment. They take a clinician with intuition combined with education and experience. If you have to wait for her it’s because she is spending time with someone who needs it, just as she would do the same for you. She has dedicated her life to helping patients with tick born diseases and could be making a lot more money in medicine elsewhere. She’s great!
We cannot thank Dr Hoadley enough for saving our son when no one else would listen. She is extremely knowledgeable on Lyme disease and we highly recommend this physician.
Dr. Hoadley knows tick borne diseases. Period. I have referred many people to Dr. Hoadley and she has diagnosed them correctly and treated them appropriately. As for me, my case has been difficult, but Dr. Hoadley has stuck with me. If not for her I wouldn’t be here to write this. I’d be dead.
My husband went to see her.She was terrible. Disorganized and not at all helpful. She charged ridiculous amounts of money without ever actually treating his illness. Do not waste your time, money or energy on this woman.
Hoadley knows the Lyme basics and will try treatments of 3 months at a time usually. She doesn’t have a front desk staff and pushes her supplement products because she gets a commission. This tells me that she wants to save money on staff and get a kicker from selling products. Not sure if this is morally fit but since she’s a doctor, but who knows. First time patients will get her 2 hr lecture that she gives at universities. Makes you think there Is hope. If you take time to research along with her recommendation you could get better but no promise for 100% cure. I’ve been to two other LLDs since Hoadley and shes lowest in the list based on my experience. Since she’s local most of us have to wait and work with her. Better than a primary care i guess. I recommend Lyme patients to book appointments with a few different doctors since they will push what they believe in and every doctor specializes in different treatments and has been taught differently.
Dr. Hoadley takes the time that is necessary to properly diagnose. I don't mind waiting when she has complicated patients ahead of me because I know she would take the time to give me the same level of care. Moreover, her treatment of Lyme and other tick borne diseases is exemplary. I recommend her to more patients with Lyme disease than anyone else because I know she is a compassionate diagnostician and healer. In fact, I believe she has saved my life!
Thorough historian and examiner and I as I am a physician I know. Discussions of diagnostic results and specialized testing revealed a vast breadth of knowledge. And treatment planning well crafted with an ear to all expectations and concerns I conveyed.
Yes, her office is run horribly but she is one of the best doctors in the area for Lyme. My daughter was sick 3 years ago and she was instrumental in getting her better. She has now relapsed and is seeing her again. The unanswered calls and wait is worth it! Promise
I visited this Dr.once, hoping to be treated for Lyme Disease. She had one part-time assistant who also worked in another office. Her office was over run by paperwork - literally a mess. So much of a mess that I was concerned. However, after a thorough talk, she put me on antibiotics and told me to come back in 4 or 5 months. I asked if there was any follow-up between that time and she said no, just take the antibiotics. The day before my 4 month follow-up, she called and canceled claiming a family emergency but said she would be in touch to reschedule. After several attempts made by myself to reschedule she suggested we communicate by email as she was too busy. I never saw our heard from her again.
ridiculous, I cannot get in contact with this office, I work for a primary care office and I cannot get a human to answer the phone to schedule our patients with dr. hoadly, I won't be referring to her office ever, terrible business.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
