Repeatedly consulted, with no referral to appropriate specialist for nearly 2 years. Told me there was a medication I should have been placed on for first 6 weeks after accident, but she was the treating physiatrist who had not placed me on it.Led to longterm problems.

Apathetic. Didn't prescribe the medication she herself told me I should have been placed on ASAP after accident when she WAS the prescribing doctor, that led to longterm consequences. Didn't get me to appropriate professional to evaluate serious Traumatic Brain Injury which she misdiagnosed.The professional she referred me to was sloppy and resigned a few years later. Botched in every possible way. When Surgeon and PCP recommended I apply for disability, she refused to support, because she was born with a form of physical disability, leaving her unsympathetic to catastrophic disability. I delayed applying, went broke & bankrupt in the meantime, then was adjudicated by a disability Judge in less than 20 minutes in Boston 5 years later.Ended up losing everything,in horrendous public housing, am disabled for life. Saw Chief of Neurology, Harvard Med School & 1 Traumatic Brain Injury/SCI specialist (who was considered best in Boston) both horrified I hadn't received proper treatment.
