Merrimack Eye Clinic's Online Review Report Card

The optical shop wouldn't fill my prescription because it was from another Opthalmologist. They only fill other providers' scripts if the patient has Mass. Health (Medicaid.) Seems discriminatory to me. My private, employer-provided health insurer lists them as a participating provider. I wonder how long that will last.

I highly recommend Dr. Capino for anyone needing expert eye care. As an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external diseases, he brought both skill and compassion to my treatment. I came to him with a corneal and external eye condition, and his thorough approach and expertise made all the difference in my recovery. Dr. Capino’s knowledge in his field is exceptional, and I felt completely confident under his care. He took the time to explain each step of the process, which helped me understand my condition better. I’m very grateful for his treatment and would trust him with any future eye care needs.

The staff are amazing and polite & the Dr. should honestly learn from them . He was extremely rude from minute he entered the room by asking why I haven’t seen an eye doctor for over 5 years . I think if I had an issue I would make an appointment but I always say don’t fix something that not broken, considering it’s coming out of my pocket . However I answered said I haven’t needed too. He thing insinuated that my last prescription wasn’t from there , I told him I haven’t been anywhere else so it was here. He kept on saying no as if I was lying . Then he seen me for poor 2 mins not even listening to what was bothering me & telling him night vision gotten worse. I was mind blown at his rush & two second examine. Then I had to tell him I have stigmatism because he didn’t even know. Then we move to another room and I forgot my keys and heard them ,so I stayed “ someone must grabbed my keys for me”, he like, “ go get them why would you leave them” I was completely shocked how he treated me and I have to pay a co pay of $60 like have some dignity and respect for your patients . I’m tatted from head to toe by the way and I do property management I would never treaty tenants like there are nothing, SHAME ON YOU!! I hope you value your team in the front running the show for you! Do better BE BETTER,

Every year I went to Dr. Capino. I never got a full eye exam. I was just put in the room the Dr would come in and have me look at a chart and say well we will give you a little bit of a stronger prescription. That was it. I also believe that because he is Asian he treated his Asian patients way better than other patients that were not of Asian descent.

I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care I received from Dr. Capino. I had been experiencing bothersome eye floaters. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel at ease with his calm and professional approach. Dr. Capino took the time to thoroughly explain what causes floaters, as well as the treatment options available, which really helped me understand my situation. Thanks to his expertise, my symptoms have improved and I feel much more comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Capino for anyone dealing with similar issues— he truly cares about his patients and has exceptional skills.

I don’t recommend using them and I’ll never go back. As far as treating patients, the doctor himself is wonderful and has a lot of experience. However, their billing practices and employees who handle billing are a nightmare. They’ve been sending me a very expensive bill for months, which my insurance company tells me I don’t owe. My insurance company has spoken with them to explain this, and that since they’re in network with my insurance they shouldn’t be billing me. It’s been months and the office is still harassing me to pay this bill. The high quality of this doctor’s work is not worth the major hassle and stress this experience has caused. I wish I could rate the doctor separately from the office because I’d give him all 5 stars.

My father has been coming here and seen by doctor capino for a long time and he has always been happy and cared for very well. The staff are very nice and kind. I highly recommend this eye . Scheduling my visit shortly .
