Lahey Health Urgent Care - Lynnfield's Online Review Report Card

Visited Lahey Urgent Care in Lynnfield today and was treated very nicely. From the check in process to the nurses and medical staff, each person is professional, caring, and compassionate. I highly recommend them and appreciate them.

Made an appointment and brought my little 2 year old boy. He was immediately upset saying “done”. A staff member brought him crayons and a book… then checking in, the staff were extremely nice! Appreciated the attitude and attention from the staff. Thank you for making it a good experience! 😁

Cancelled my appointment well I was in the parking lot… first time visiting an urgent care and I’m convinced the health care system is broken. It was a “Laurie” who called and cancelled sounds like a medical assistant I wish I knew the doctor.

They don’t actually take walk-ins, you have to make an appointment. But their website & door say they take walk-ins. I just tried to go in and was told “the only walk-in appointment we have is at 1:20, can you come back?” No one was in the waiting room. This defeats the purpose of urgent care. Go somewhere else.

If I could give the 0 I would! I walked in at 4:30pm tonight with my 3 year old daughter only to be told they were at capacity and we were denied! I called twice with no answer before I even arrived. How do you deny people. It seems to me that the providers don’t want to stay open till their scheduled time! Place is a joke and I will not be returning. How do you Deny a 3 year old with an ear ache. It says you close at 8pm on the door!!

I was hospiralized for a week ,because i had abdominal abscesses infection from a prior surgery elsewhere( where im afraid of that surgeon and refuse to go back to that hospital,which was once a great hospital)well the surgeons who put in my j.p. drains were great,the nurses were caring considerate,knowledable,respectful ,caring and considerate ,some nurses and nurse assistant stood out for going above and beyond i made sure i mentioned them in review and tried multiple times to reach there boss and say what a phenenomanal job they are doing, the infectious disease Dr Kopelman is awesome,I am on my way there now .,i would rather drive 36-50 + minutes in traffic to go here,then go to the prior place less then 10 minutes away. I am happy these people care ,and di not treat people like a job or $ making objects,but take the time to listen ,im glad these people exist ,I was in november 7th-13th and left with jp drains in.got them removed the 30th nov,i cannot say enough in 2023 it is a great place

The absolute worst surgical experience I have ever had. The negligence and lack of bedside manner is astounding. Feeling unable to go elsewhere because they did not finish the job, and need to operate further. Hoping this will give people the push to go elsewhere, so they don't find themselves in the awful predicament I'm in. Do not trust them, go to MGH. Simply look at the last few years of reviews. A clear decline has occurred and that "4 star" rating is obviously not accurate (based on the last few years).

I had a great experience that first time I visited here. This second time was probably one of my worst healthcare experiences. I came to urgent care because I noticed white spots in my throat. I'm in nursing school and knew I should get it checked out. My strep came back negative but was told by the NP who was very rude and seemed like she didn't even want to be there that I worked at a daycare and it probably was hand foot and mouth. I didn't have a fever or sores elsewhere on my body. I simply asked her if it could be tonsillitis since my tonsils were the only things swollen with white patches. I was then given a horrible look by her and she snapped at me saying " no I've been doing this for a long time, it's not that it's hand foot and mouth." Simply for asking a question. What happened to empathy when doing patient care or taking the time to answer questions. It was no attack on her credibility or education. It was simply a question. I will never return here after this experience. And advise others to go to afc urgent care where they won't be treated horribly.
