I would highly recommend Dr Consigli. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. Most important to me was she was so caring and compassionate and listened to my concerns and took the time explaining everything to me.

I had seen Dr. Caroline Perriello for years until I got LASIK. My eyes have regressed and my retina specialist states the surgery had damaged nerves in the cornea so I can't produce my own tears. She saw me in October 2015, wanted me to come back in 2 months because she wasn't sure if my prescription would change with the dry eye. She cancelled that appointment and I saw her recently. She rechecked and gave me a prescription for a steroid eye drop. I had spoke of my concerns about it maybe not being approved by my insurance but office staff assured me they would work that out. I had just switched to a new insurance and brought that to the attention of her staff not the dr herself but she had listened to the message and stated to me that my message was rather lengthy in a very rude tone, that she doesn't understand my insurance question which I didn't expect her to, the message wasn't for her, and that she had no time to look into that or do a preauthorization for a few weeks, as she was extremely busy. My own primary Doctor took it upon themselves when I told them the situation to ask for the records and he's busy too and get the prior authorization out that day. I have never seen this side of the Doctor but she has displayed to me that she doesn't care about the patient and it surely shows in her rudeness and attitude.

I wanted a eye doctor that was located closer to work and accepted my insurance. I called for an appt. and had one the very next day! Kathy at the front desk was was very friendly and knowledgeable about different types of insurance (They accept many types). Filled out my quick info form and I was in for my exam and contact lens fitting with Dr. Caroline. She was great and explained everything and answered any questions I had. Good sense of humor too! All in all, this was a great choice and I would recommend her to anyone!
