Community Health Center's Online Review Report Card

Updated Review: This facility has deteriorated rapidly in recent months, I havent seen my PCP in so long that I can't remember my last appointment with him, any follow-up appointments I schedule are magically unavailable a week or so after scheduling with no explanation and need to be changed to 2-4 weeks later, my meds are continuously miscounted in the pharmacy giving me less than the month's supply I am suppose to get. One of these comes with the risk of severe withdrawals if not taken every day. All the helpful, kind people (besides the receptionist Alex, he is exemplary) have been replaced with cold, short-tempered, poorly trained individuals. The warm and friendly care my family and I used to recieve is gone!Secondary Update: It's been 8 months since my last review update and this place has steadily gotten worse over time.

I wish I could give this place a zero and I’m sorry for even giving them a chance. Desk staff is incompetent and rude. November ‘21 did new patient intake appointment and scheduled my cleaning for April ‘22. They were booked out very far in advance. Receptionist told me it was in Hyannis. Show up to my appointment and find out they scheduled me In Bourne. Which I never would have done, very inconvenient for me. She kindly rescheduled me for 3 weeks out. 7 days before my appt I get a call they want to cancel my second appointment. I voiced my frustrations with them to only get attitude and understaff excuses. The soonest appointment they had for me was November of ‘22. One whole year, and two cleanings behind schedule. Poorly run, finding a new dentist and a waste of my time.

I have always had great experiences particularly with my primary care physician. She listens, she follows up promptly and she is caring.

I have been a patient at this facility for about 12 years. My initial provider left (she was great!) and my current one, Dr. Ronan, is fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly, and very pleasant to interact with. The staff at reception is super nice, and the nurses are wonderful! I recommend this group to everyone I know.

Great place to get primary care dental and vision.. they've helped me a lot personally

The entire dental staff are so kind and welcoming. I am so pleased with the treatment plan we have put together. The team conquers every obstacle and gets the job done! I am so grateful which also makes me feel good about myself! I so appreciate thank you😊

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I saw Dr. Burr. He would not listen ,actually got mad because we did not come in sooner. When I explained that was because we were trying to get in for months & no one would call us back he then said it was his awful staff & he has new staff now. So why is that my fault ? He has given us the wrong meds 2x now. & then actually made fun of another Dr & said if you want a good Dr don't go to anyone on cape cod ??? Are you kidding me ??? Do not go to him......run in the opposite direction !!!!

I have to say this place is way better than harber community health center in hyannis. But it also depends on your provider. I have had 3 providers here and the first 2 never got back to me. I am loving my new provider so far. Her nurse gets right back to me. Dr. Tager was very kind and listened to me about the issues i have having and set me up with my new provider after having alot of issues with getting my medication refilled. So far so good. If your not getting the care you need change providers is what I reccomend.
