David Criss's Online Review Report Card

Dr Chriss is a very good Cardiologist. But HIS OFFICE STAFF IS HORRENDOUS. THEY ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND CONDESCENDING. THE SUBHUMAN I DEALT WITH WAS LEANNE AND HER SIDEKICK SAMANTHA. SAVE YOURSELF SOME HEARTACHE AND STRESS BY NEVER ENTERING THIS OFFICE.

The worse office experience. My mom came to the office at 4 PM for her appointment at 4:15. Prior to her appointment, she wanted to make sure that her insurance is accepted. She was told they don't know and she needs to call the insurance. It took 2 min to call the insurance to make sure it was accepted. Then she was told they don't know this insurance. She took a day off, drove for 45 min to get there and was told they won't take her because they don't know this insurance and they need to verify. She was refused for an appointment because the office didn't verify the insurance. How unprofessional.

Dr. Criss with all due respect you may be the best MD there is but that woman Samantha who answers the phone is extremely rude, very argumentative and to be very honest by the looks of your reviews seems to be bringing your ratings down. You may want to either retrain her or find someone else. Or if she's in your family maybe teach the girl some manners and respect for her elders!

I have been a patient of Dr.Chris’s 32 years. The women at the front desk are rudest, nastiest people , hung up in my face. When a patient is calling their doctor with a problem to be treated like that and for me to be in tears because of the treatment is a huge problem. Many people have left this practice because of them.They are ruining your name. I will never be back there and pull my family out as well. THEY ALSO WILL NOT GIVE HIM A MESSAGE NO MATTER WHAT. They said you are to talk to them only

Rude, nasty women answering phones and when you come in for an appointment they ignore you like they don’t see you. Then give you an attitude. I had a medication issue that was personal. I asked them to leave him a note, they said no you were to speak to them only. I’am the 7th person today that has said the same thing. I’m leaving this practice. He’s gonna loose all his patients if this continues.

Worst customer assistance imaginable. Lady who answered the phone was by far the rudest person I have ever interacted with in the health care field. She literally hung up on me mid sentence while I was asking about potential primary care providers, I’m guessing because it was 10 minutes before closing. She flat out told me to have a nice day and hung up when I was mid sentence. Both my newly expecting wife and our two children are patients in the Melrose Wakefield network specifically the 50 Rowe Street location but we will now be changing. Judging by the other reviews and my experience no changes have been made to better assist patients or potential patients at this location. Inexcusable.

I recently requested a medication to be changed because of the severe cough I was having. I had the pleasure (not!!!) of dealing a woman on the phone by the name of Leeda she is rude and unprofessional and should not be in the medical field if she has no compassion. Her phone mannerism really shined through on the conversations we had. Everyone in the office is other wise pleasant.

I've had Dr. Criss for years and I find him professional, kind, willing to listen and knowledgeable....

Great Doctor but staff is horrible never calls back. Front office staff is the key to having a successful practice and this one is NOT worth the aggravation .Coming from an over night stay at MWH and we cannot get a follow up appointment for 5 weeks and my 85 year old mother in law is still in a lot of pain. Visiting nurse has also been calling office as well and no return phone call. Practice is taking on more than they can handle since Dr Nadelson and Dr Luke left.
