List of Bay State Eye Associates's Reviews
They make you take a "contacts class" which is not covered by any insurance and costs $150, which we were not informed about beforehand. They (the assistant, not the actual doctor) spends about 2.5 minutes showing you how to put in contact lenses. Not worth the money and have complained to the AG's office.
Went for a first time eye appointment since I was a kid, was in and out. Dr. Kahn is so sweet. Great frame options here also. Talk to Renee in Methuen! She is knowledgeable and kind
Everyone at Bay State Eye is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Kahan is empathic, professional and pleasant.
Always a great experience with Dr. Kahan and all of his associates in the office. He gives me all the time I need and the women assisting me to find the glasses I wanted was exceptional in every way possible. She was very informative, kind and patient. Can't ask for more.
Dr.Kahan is one of the most knowledgeable and interesting people I've had the pleasure of staring into my eyes.
Very detailed exam. Professional and courteous service from beginning to end! Dr. Khan is soo awesome and thorough! My whole family comes here. The ladies who help you pick out your glasses are amazing!
This is my second visit here. I had a visit last month with a doctor who was quite rude and very unwelcoming. She made me feel uncomfortable when I asked questions during my exam as I was given 1 word answers. When switching lens strength to find the right RX, she switched so fast I kept asking to go back to #1 or #2 and it was bothering her. My eyes are bad and they need a moment to adjust to the change in lens strength for me to give her an answer as to which one is clearer for me. I then picked out frames and was not given any insight to how my thick heavy lenses would change the frame on my face. So when picking up my new glasses (2 of them) they spent 40 minutes adjusting my frames as they were crooked. They never even got them to sit straight on my face. Not only that but the lenses produce a reflection in my line of vision because the frames don't support them. They said there was nothing I can do and I would need to buy new frames. The new glasses are so bad I can't even wear them- I have to wait to buy new frames and hope another place will be better suited with information that would make the process easier and tell me whether or not my frames support my RX. I mean I can't see without glasses so how could I make an educated choice without assistance from people who are supposed to be professionals? Lastly i asked for a lasik referral and was told no I couldn't get one. I asked 3 seperate times and still no call from any lasik office.
I was very pleased with the level of service received as a first time patient there. Efficient and thorough! Thank you 😊

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
