Today I met Dr. Goldberg for the first time. I was extremely nervous for my visit to review tests with him and I had a lot of questions. Dr. Goldberg was so understanding of my anxiety and took the time to explain everything to me, answer all my questions and ease my anxiety. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to me not just in medical terms...but in "normal" language so I could understand everything clearly! I am happy I have found a cardiologist I can go to for future concerns!

I 1st met Dr. Goldberg about 14 plus years ago in an emergency situation. At that point, I had an aortic aneurysm and clots in my lungs. Dr. Goldberg was able to direct the corrections needed. Since that time, I continue to have had other heart and vascular issues that I certainly did not understand. He takes his time with his patients and is willing to answer questions until you are satisfied and understand. Dr. Goldberg has worked with me over the years to keep me up and running. There were times, due to his job commitments, that he referred me out to other specialists. However, once you are his patient, you are always his patient. He continued to review all my medical care and often took late night frustration calls from me to walk me through a situation. I am very happy to have him back as my cardiologist these last few years. He communicates well, never makes you feel rushed, and treats each patient as though they are a friend he wants to keep on the planet.

I have never in my entire life felt more comfortable in a doctors office than I did today. Dr Goldberg immediately was so friendly and warm and LISTENED. He even offered a chaperone for my comfort. I fealt my history was explored well both by my paper records and by my word of mouth experience. I feel very confident in my care here. I left feeling like I caught up with an old friend.
