Dr. Burke has performed 3 replacements on me and I would trust no other to perform these surgeries. He has a partner Dr. Shervyn and she is phenomenal as well. I felt very secure knowing they were taking care of me.

Dr Burke was the best dr I could have chosen to replace my hip. His caring, compassion and attention to patient quality of care is second to none. He saw me at least twice a day while I was hospitalized, always answered questions made sure I was okay. The only orthopedist I will ever go to.

My brother is an emergency room doctor who worked at MassGeneral and knew Dr. Burke. When I needed a new hip, my brother said that Dr. Burke is the best hip surgeon there is. He treated former Secretary of State John Kerry and my brother's elderly mother-in-law, and if my brother needed a new hip, he would choose Dr. Burke for himself and none other.My experience with Dr. Burke was tremendous from start to finish. He is very personable. He told me that I definitely needed a new hip and showed me why. He recommended a proven hip replacement device over a new, unproven one. He gave me options for anesthesia. I was not nervous about the surgery knowing that I was in the best hands. The operation went great and Dr. Burke followed up. Five years later my other hip is not so good and I know that Dr. Burke will tell me whether I need another new one or not.I highly recommend Dr. Burke to anyone with hip problems.

Perfect. As always Dr. Burke communicates clearly, and listens so well that any concerns or fears are put to rest through your confidence. Had one hip replaced about 20 years ago. Perfect surgery. Amazing recovery. Walked unsupported with minimal discomfort in 7 days. Normal life within a month. Considering a second hip. Dr. Burke is in my opinion, the best.

At age 82 (87 now) I had Dr Burke replace my left knee. One month to the day, I played (in a golf cart) 18 holes of golf without any pain or restriction . None since (I am fortunate to play over 300 rounds a year ).

He is by far the BEST Orthopedic (Hip/knee) surgeon in New England He has replaced a knee and a hip for my mom who is now 91. I am a 69 yr. old male who have had both hips replaced by Dr. Burke with absolutely NO PROBLEMS over a 10 year span. IMPORTANT try and get the earliest appointment possible. He is always behind, but that is is nature. He spends time with each of his patients. He is a wonderful, sincere, Dr. who cares about each individual he is caring for. .
