List of Anne G. Pinto's Reviews
I don’t recommend Dr. Pinto or this practice as a whole. During an annual exam, she had me undress and put on a gown at the END of the visit solely to listen to my lungs. Why would this be necessary when she could have simply lifted my shirt to listen to my lungs? And why have me change at the end of the visit? She also had me lick the sweat from my arm and tell her what it tasted like. It made me extremely uncomfortable, to say the least. On another occasion, she prescribed half the normal dosage of Levofloxacin for sinus and ear infections. The pharmacist who filled the script indicated that this was highly unusual and will likely be ineffective, which it was. The pharmacy didn’t even carry that dosage, so she cut the tablets in half. It wasn’t a surprise when I needed to take another course at the normal dosage to clear the infections. During another visit, when I needed blood drawn, the nurse/tech (not sure her exact credentials, or if she even had any) was unable to find a vein. She stared at my arms for an extended period of time but never even attempted to draw blood. Rather, she went on an on about being “in the healthcare field” and described how badly she wanted her daughter’s tonsils removed due to chronic tonsillitis. She couldn’t afford to take more time off from work to care for her, so she was going to insist on having them removed. Subsequently, Dr. Pinto sent me to Beth Israel Hospital Needham to have my blood drawn, instead. Apparently, the nurses/techs (whomever they are) aren’t competent enough to even attempt to draw blood at her practice. Good to know. I haven’t been back in years and changed primary care physicians for obvious reasons.
It took me time to get use to But she great she was mine and my mother doctor before I move to the cape I can see why people won’t like her because her personality can come off cold but she great doctor very smart I think the over book her
Horrible experience at her practice in Needham. It took them hours to return my call for a sick visit and by the time they did I was in the ER. Doctor doesn’t communicate effectively with her patients. Office staff is rude and inefficient with entering insurance in properly. I got a huge bill because they didn’t enter my Blue Cross card in. They are unapologetic of their errors as well.
Doctor doesn't communicate effectively with her patients, doesn't explain why she refers them to specialist. Office staff is incapable of processing insurance accurately so you might get a staggering bill. They don't return calls in a timely manner especially if it borders on emergent.
This practice is a joke! They didn't enter my insurance in accurately so I got a substantial bill. The doctor does not communicate with you why she might want you to see a specialist until you get to your specialist office and they drop the C word. When I had horrible abdominal pain I didn't get a call back for four hours and by then I was in the ER. Office staff is ridiculous. There is no ownership.
Excellent physician! Compassionate, thorough, caring, going above and beyond! I am a medical doctor and Dr. Pinto recently provided excellent care for my mom. Dr. Pinto helped my mother navigate through a complex array of evaluations. My mother truly appreciated the fact that Dr. Pinto promptly communicated the test results from the workup and remained available for follow-up questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Pinto to friends, family and everyone that needs a comprehensive evaluation by a compassionate and caring physician.
Dr. Pinto is kind. Professional. Very reassuring . Non judgemental. Easy to discuss medical problems with
Informative and warm.
Dr. Pinto goes out of her way to try to address your health issues and beyond, reaching out on evenings to convey results.
Only refers to specialists at Norwood Hospital and BMC. Will refuse all second opinion requests at any other hospitals.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
