Professional, kind, caring, sympathetic and no-ne knows the eye better than this guy!
Excellent care
Saw Dr. Gold for the first time due to an emergency. The front staff got me an appointment same day and were very welcoming! Dr. Gold was wonderful about answering all my questions and explaining my options. Office is highly recommended!
A great doctor as he not only cares about you medically, but also as a person.
Probably the best everyday eye doctor in the Boston area,
Dr Gold is a wonderful surgeon in all respects. From the initial evaluation, to Cataract Surgery to post op care, He is the best Doctor I see for my Medical needs. I trust him 150% with my eyes, in fact, my other eye is going to have Cataract surgery this coming summer. I can't wait to discard the Glasses I have worn my entire adult life! GOLD ROCKS! Dan Dion
I've seen Dr. Gold for over ten years, for routine care plus conditions such as dry eye. He is conservative in the sense that he doesn't rush into things, whether it be upgrading a prescription unless he feels it's absolutely necessary or prescribing medication. He is competent and cordial. Though his location is no longer as convenient (my job is now in another town), I continue to drive to see him an average of twice a year. The only weak link is that a medical assistant is uncommunicative and brusque to the point of being discourteous.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
