List of Vibra Hospital Of Southeastern Massachusetts's Reviews
My father was there for almost 7months and I couldn’t be happier of the care that he received day in and day out by all the staff. Laura (case manager) always went above and beyond to help our large family with our accommodations and visits. Emily and Cam there are no words to thank you guys for all the unconditional love and support. Thank you Vibra Hospital
This place is a nightmare! I would not recommend it to anyone. My senior citizen mother was admitted to Vibra for recuperation from COPD flare up. We were not allowed to speak to a doctor for 10 days but had to go through the case manager, Alisha, who was rude and spoke down to us. Despite repeated requests for OTC meds that were prescribed for her eyes, it seemed no one cared enough to follow up and it took 5 days to get part of the meds and then they only implemented only half the treatment Despite almost daily requests for Mom’s hair to be washed for a week and half, it was not done until the day she was discharged to another facility. She was left alone in bed even though the goal was recuperation and we were requesting it. Staff would verbally agree getting her out of bed was the goal and then leave her in bed all day long. Staff was rarely in her room. Food was not great and they did not give Mom a menu to choose, despite that they told us they do have menus. Nothing moved forward without repeated requests for days, if at all. Visitation policy was punishing and impossible to schedule regular visits. We insisted on moving our mother to a better facility but received nothing but rude push back from the case manager. We insisted and she was transferred to a much better place. Upon transfer, they indicated the wrong diagnosis.
Do not bring your loved one to Vibra in New Bedford. My home just spent 2 weeks there before we could move her to another facility. It's old and feels like a morgue, little staff and what I saw was not impressive. One of the worst incidences that I found out about was when my mom needed help going to the bathroom. The nurse told here she could go until she ate her lunch! My mom was so upset we don't have to say what happened. When I talked to the case worker she said " I know, I spoke with her". Are you kidding! That's abusive. Another time I asked a nurse for assistance because my mom needed the bathroom. Waited 20 minutes, no assistance. Asked again and someone finally came. No hello, no talking to my mother...just a look. We are past covid protocols as of March 2022 and they make a visitor call a case worker to schedule a time 48 hours in advance. They will not allow you schedule any less than 48 hours. Staggered visiting so the entire hospital has to fit on this schedule! Good luck reaching someone and good luck getting a time that will work. You want to drop something off that day, no way it's not 48 hours in advance! No menu for my mom to select food...you get what they give you even if you don't drink milk or coffee. Now that we finally got her out of there, the report they gave the nursing home/rehab facility is not correct. They told them that she was in because of Covid. My mother has COPD/emphysema. Wow, this place is atrocious! Saw no compassion or accuracy there.
Since I arrived at VIBRA, I cannot imagine having been placed in a better facility.all staff, on all shifts.have been professional courteous, and nice. I have also enjoyed the food. An overall great experience.
Nurse Cote was excellent, daytime help was good.
I have not had amazing medcail staff in all my. 58yrs .whom have been so kind and professional.
Wonderful place, friendly staff. Lots of tender loving care.
Our journey began August 21, 2021. My husband and I got sick with COVID and began the quarantining and recovery process. I recovered, but God had different plans for my husband. He entered into the ER with severe pneumonia and has not been home since. During this process, we have been BLESSED every step of the way. We have met angels in the form of nurses, doctors, receptionists, case managers, therapists, housekeeping, and many more. When my husband was moved from the ER to a rehab facility, I went to google and read the reviews for places. Vibra was one of the few who took COVID positive patients that also needed respiratory therapy. We were apprehensive because usually people write the negative reviews. We need not have worried. The minute my husband was brought into Vibra, he was assigned a case worker, Laura. She has kept in constant contact with myself and my husband every single step of the way. She has answered all of our questions promptly, and when she didn’t know an answer, she found out. When we had a concern, it was also addressed in a timely manner. We can’t say enough about the staff. All of his nurses, Respiratory (Scott and many more), Physical Therapy (Josh and many more), Occupational Therapy, Personal Care (Liz, Brooke, Juliana and more) have made his stay at Vibra amazing in the face of such a difficult situation. They have ALL been so encouraging, understanding, and nurturing to a patient for whom his anxiety has made every step of his recovery that much harder. To everyone at Vibra, we are sad to leave you, but know that my husband is leaving because you have all surpassed the requirements of your jobs. We are sad to be leaving you, but better for having known such kindness!!!!
The most kind hearted facility with staff that just shine. If you need to be in a hospital, this is the place to come to.
I had surgery in March 2021 at another hospital... had many complications... was in that hospital for over a month... surgical site would not heal...They decided they couldn't do anything else for me and that I definitely needed more help...I was sent to a hospital named Vibra, where I was introduced to a lady named Frith... she is head of the wound clinic...She basically saved my life...She had closed the surgical site and I healed completely... there were many other people that were involved... the nurses,CNA's (SHEILA AND ALICE) and to many more to mention... finally going home after being away for seven months.... THANK YOU VIBRA

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
