Alison Callahan's Online Review Report Card

I had an eyelid lift with Dr. Callahan in April. I found her to be very pleasant, as was her staff. I had an early morning appointment so little to no wait. The procedure went very well and I am 100% satisfied with the results. I would highly her for this procedure.

Dr. Callahan is a knowledgeable, extraordinarily skilled physician--I would highly recommend her to both family and friends. I have been to the office for routine treatments to address medical issues with my eyes as well as for cosmetic procedures. I trust Dr. Callahan entirely. Not only are my results incredible, it is clear she cares deeply about her patients and their outcomes.

After three years of not being able to read for any length of time due to droopy eyelids, I saw Dr Callahan .I can’t thank her enough for giving me back such a precious gift. The procedure and recovery were painless . The entire experience was better than I could have ever anticipated. I am more than thrilled with the results.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Callahan for blepharoplasty (Removing excess eyelids blocking some of my vision). The day of surgery she ran late, but with an afternoon time, that often can't be avoided. Office appointments are timely. Dr. C explained the procedure and the office sends written explanations that are very useful. Recovery was quick (I use arnica montana to help with bruising.) and eleven days post-op I have the go-ahead to resume using eye make-up and going to the gym.

Had a procedure with Dr. Callahan on lay terms (tightening of the eye muscles and cutting away fat from upper lids). She was wonderful and her surgical staff were very attentive. Dr. Callahan was very professional and I feel the outcome was a successful. It has only been 2 wks and there is already a noticeable difference. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Callahan provided excellent care. She ran tests, told me what was wrong with my eyelids and clearly explained the surgery needed to repair them. Surgery was short, and recovery was what I expected. I could hardly believe the difference in the before and after pictures she took! I would highly recommend Dr. Callahan.

My pre- and post-operative meetings with Dr. Alison Callahan, associated with Tallman Eye Associates in Lawrence/Andover, MA, were informative, to the point, and comfortable and comforting. The day surgery at Doctors Park/Andover Surgical Center was expeditiously organized by Tallman Eye Associates and smoothly conducted by Dr. Callahan and other attending medical personnel. She visited with me before and after the surgery. In both cases she told me about and then reviewed the surgical procedure and follow-up care details, provided information as I asked her a couple of refresher questions, and ensured a good appropriately relaxed but professional atmosphere by both her words and presence in the prep area, the surgical theater, and post-op area. A check-in with her a couple of weeks after this procedure had the same characteristics. If the need should arise for additional ophthalmological surgery for which Dr. Alison Callahan would be the appropriate provider, I would certainly request her professional services.

Dr. Callahan performed chalazion removal with step by step explanation. With no pressure about time, and also was quickly react on my uncommon anesthesia reaction. After surgical medical care was done. I got instructions for after care.

Besides the one 50-70 minute wait the last 2 time I saw Dr. Callahan, the office is poorly run; inefficient and unorganized. Dr. Callahan herself is nice enough and her credentials are excellent; but I have been to better doctors for similar issues. Her office just happened to be more convenient to my home. I will not be coming back.
