Samuel D. Allen's Online Review Report Card

I went to the reception area at Tallman Eye Associates and I told my problems about the refill prescription. That immature, Samuel Allen, and the other female employees were laughing at me. This is to show that he and his colleagues do not have any professionalism and understanding towards patients.

I went into the Haverhill office with my 15 year old son. He had a cyst on his eyelid, Dr. Allen gave him novocaine, and when he attempted to do the procedure my son tightened up in the chair, he was nervous, and said it hurts. Dr. Allen was clearly frustrated, got aggravated, and said he would not continue. He told him to live with it or go elsewhere and get sedated. Dr. Allen was the most unprofessional person, he had zero patience for my son. No people skills at, as a mother, I am horrified. I would not bring my guniea pig to this doctor. I have 3 sons and this was by far the worse experience with a doctor ever. I can't believe I took time out of work for this appointment. I wish I never went. This was an awful experience, my son could not believe how the doctor acted. My son asked me what was wrong with him. My 15 year old said he felt bad for the elderly folks in the waiting room, he felt they would not be treated appropriately. I would not recommend this doctor, this was terrible!! Can't imagine how he would feel with someone treating his child / children like this. Craziest visit ever ..

This doctor does not anything about medicine! don't be fooled by 5 start reviews you see. That's probably himself or his family members that are writing good reviews about him. He is the most careless and clueless doctor I have seen. The DO probably explains some of it as he was not good enough for MD program! he should retire and find a different profession.

Multi-day surgical prep instructions (eye drops, etc.) given to patient for the right eye. On day of surgery, patient arrived to the center and was told by staff that the doctor had ordered surgery for the left eye, not the right eye. They also said the doctor was still willing to do surgery on the left eye even without the multi-day surgical prep. An extremely busy office.

I am very lucky to have Dr. Alan as my doctor. Being with him for over ten years. He is very professional and caring. I am a senior and he takes time talking to me.

Dr Allen was very knowledgeable and helpful. He saw me on short notice and still got excellent care. I would recommend him to anyone for eye related issues! Great doctor!!

I called on a Friday for an eye problem I was having. Dr Allen saw me that day. He and his staff were so helpful! I will recommend them to my family and friends. Thanks To Dr Allen, I was able to have a good weekend!

We have known Dr. Allen for many years and have appreciated his care for our two children and my elderly Dad. He is very nice and patient.
