Dr. Aliphas recently removed my tonsils (tonsillectomy) and I had the best possible experience before, during and after this procedure. I had been struggling with recurring tonsillitis for years, and Dr. A provided me with all the information to make a decision around a tonsillectomy. Dr. Aliphas was sure to explain every step of the procedure to me and carefully listen to my questions and concerns. He is a caring, respectful and thorough doctor that I am lucky enough to be a patient of.

Treated my sudden acute hearing loss in one ear. Outstanding. Went above and beyond what a typical doctor would do. He consulted with other doctors in other specialties after my visit. Did his research, then got back to me with his recommended treatment. He also treated my facial palsy due to lyme disease even though that was not the reason for my visit. He showed care and concern that most doctors would not. First class

Dr. Aliphas is warm, personable, and listened to all of my concerns. After 19 months of a miserable, undiagnosed issue and several specialists that either didn't have the knowledge to recognize the problem or didn't care to invest any time to figure it out... I wasn't very hopeful I was going to get any help.I was absolutely overjoyed when Dr. Aliphas pinned down a diagnosis (which I'm confident is correct, because he took the time to ask me the right questions) I now have a solid, REAL treatment plan that I'm following, after months of extreme discomfort- and I'm already feeling better!The staff is wonderful as well. The PA that initially listened to my symptoms (I wish I could remember her name) was so attentive and kind. The receptionists are very nice and accommodating. I can't recommend this doctor and this office enough!

Leah was as great as could be. She was patient, funny, warm, and very helpful. I also appreciated Dr. Aliphas his caring manner and very thought approach to my issue.

After dealing with chronic ear problems my whole life, and being seen by many different specialists, Dr. Aliphas was the only Doctor who helped me. I did not have a cookie-cutter problem, and could not be helped by traditional remedies. For the first time I felt I was dealing with a doctor who saw me as an individual person. I cannot recommend Dr. Aiphas enough. Truely changed my life.

A fantastic surgeon! Dr. Aliphas removed a tumor from under my jaw. It was deeper than the xray showed. The estimate 90minute operation took over four hours because of this. Dr. Aliphas did a great job and with such a delicate proceedure that was no nerve damage. He is amazing!

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Aliphas at his NewtonWellesley hospital office a few times related to chronic nasal congestion and difficulty breathing and was consistently impressed by his competence and professionalism.At my first visit, Dr. Aliphas referenced an older cat scan I had back in 2013(!) showing my septum was slightly deviated, but he pointed out that if I had been fine for so many years, there could be another underlying cause to the congestion.He quickly formulated a course of action to help determine the cause of my congestion using a systematic approach in an attempt to rule out certain potential causes first. He ordered an allergy test which came back negative, prescribed a special ointment in case I had a chronic infection, and suggested using nasal rinses to flush out the congestion. I appreciated his tendency to suggest lessinvasive tasks first, and save the most invasive (surgery) for last.After ruling out allergies or an infection, we were able to conclude that the deviated septum was likely the main cause of my chronic nasal congestion. Dr. Aliphas explained to me the risks and potential benefits of receiving a septoplasty with turbinate reduction, but noted that if the nasal rinses were offering me enough relief, the surgery may not be totally necessary. Dr. Aliphas also was careful not to guarantee any surgical outcome, given the nature of this type of procedure, which I really appreciated. After thinking it over (ironically I had plenty of time due to COVID19), I opted for the surgery and had it performed a week ago.Earlier today, he removed my nasal splints (which was painless and took maybe 5 minutes) and I can breathe clearly for the first time in recent memory. Im 29. I remain impressed by Dr. Aliphas measured, objective approach to determining the actual cause of my symptoms. He is clearly great at what he does and I can tell he enjoys helping his patients. He never rushed me out of his office if I asked too many questions and always made sure I was comfortable to proceed with whatever option I chose.Most importantly, he made it clear that I was in the drivers seat, and that he was along for the ride no matter which path I chose. Bravo Dr. Aliphas. THANK YOU for your excellent care and for allowing me to breathe normally again.PS, for what its worth, their desk staff and office manager Leah were excellent at helping me with the FMLA paperwork my employer needed for me to get sick time to have this procedure.

Dr. Aliphas is top notch. He listens to and gives you the time to thoroughly explain your symptoms and concerns. He approaches your treatment on an individual level and carefully explains your treatment options. As a nurse, I am careful as to the specialist I will choose. I unreservedly recommend Dr. Aliphas!

Dr Aliphas saved my life. He diagnosed my cancer early on. He is kind, gentle and meets the highest standards of professional care. He is one the best Doctors I have ever been in the care of.

They are rude and unprofessional. I made the appointment asked who I was seeing and they lea told me Dr Aliphas. I text my mother word for word as she was speaking the information she gave me. When I checked my appointment through the patient portal, I noticed the booked me with the Nurse Practitioner. When I called, both women at the desk were rude and When I explained well how would I get that specific doctors name? Lea rudely asked with righteousness, well how did you hear about our office? I would have told you if you were seeing a doctor and denied the whole thing. She literally argued with me as if she was right. I lost time and had no time to book another doctor because of that and my ear problem has been 4 weeks now I needed to make sure there was no damage and see a doctor. Rude when I came in and rude on the phone. We are paying out of our pockets a lot of money and th h act self righteous
