If I could give a 0 star or negative rating I absolutely would. And I’d do it multiple times. The office is so poorly run, I was never sent directions on how to prepare for my colonoscopy, and the prescription wasn’t filled, so I had to DIY my prep. I also had a prescription for heartburn (famotidine) from them, and when I tried to refill it, it was “denied” without even a single call or explanation from the office or the doctor. If you are thinking about making an appointment here DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!
Very thorough, extremely patient.
The provider is excellent. This staff has a lot to be desired. They scheduled me for an office visit which I showed up for and received dirty looks. They said he is not in the office today! I said well maybe I made a mistake and they confirmed I was in the schedule but nobody contacted me. The office manager comes out and says she tried calling me but there was no response? My response was one of surprise as I work in healthcare and doctors call me everyday. What number did you call? She had a home number that had been disconnected for 10 years, I had a colonoscopy with this doctor 5 yrs ago. I was not pleased especially when she said i know its April but we can get you in maybe in August. I said forget it. I will find another provider. I have a hernia that needs to be addressed. I then called other providers in the network and all of them had my correct phone number in their system despite me never being in their office but my doctors office could not find a working phone number.
If I could give this doctors office a negative rating I would. This is the most irrisponsible and disrespectful practice I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I was referred by my doctor 9 MONTHS AGO. They where booked out for nearly a year so I made an appointment and it finally got close, my appointment was supposed to be this week. They called me last week, 7 DAYS before my appointment was scheduled for, to tell me that not only did they never recive my referal or my records but that they require clients to be fully vaxed before arrival. Firstly how on earth can a practice justify refusal to treat a patient based off of vaccination status and personal beliefs, to me that is unfathomable and disgusting. Secondly how can they have the audacity to withhold that information until 1 week before my appointment. Even if I wanted to get vaccinated (which I do not) how on God's green earth could I accomplish that in less than a week. It is so negligent and irrisponsible to knowingly leave out this information, that should have been very clearly stated when I booked the appointment 9 months ago. It would have saved me 9 months of pain that I will now have to extend even longer because I now have to find a different care provider. What kind of "professional" practice waits a week out to cross their t's and dot their i's? What kind of doctor refuses patients based off vaccination status? Whatever kind of practice they are running? I cannot say how dissapointed in the lack organization this office has. While I am very distressed about having to wait even longer to be seen and diagnosed, I am at least happy I was spared the displeasure of working with such a narrow minded, arrogent individual like Dr. Frederickson.
2:00pm - Time of virtual appointment 2:09 - I email office to say I’m waiting on the line 2:15 - I call office and leave a message (no answer) 2:30 - I call office (again no answer) and leave a second message 2:40 - I leave the chat 2:50 - I get a call and the secretary says, “um the doctor is in the chat now and waiting for you.” Me - “I thought he wasn’t coming. I waited 40 minutes. I will be back on the call in five minutes, I thought he canceled.” Her - “Doctor was running late.” Me: “No one told me that. I emailed and called.” Her: “I’ll let the doctor know.” 2:55 - I go back online. Doctor never shows up! (15 minutes later) I call the office (they didn’t bother to call me) Liz: “Doctor wants to reschedule. You left the visit and I tell all my patients to wait (she never told me this).” Me: “I’ll find a new doctor!” (Found out later they emailed me back 40 minutes into the call to say he’s on with another patient.) The communication in this office struck me as extremely rude and off-putting. No consideration, no apology, and no attempt to reach me to say the doctor is running late.
Was seen in August for testing. Dr. Frederickson was pleasant as was staff. HOWEVER, he has yet to call me back with results and/or return my phone calls.. it's DECEMBER. Office staff just keeps saying they will leave him a message. He never calls. Would not recommend seeing Dr. Frederickson.
I had my colonosphy with Dr. Frederickson at the surgery center today. He exceeded my expectations and went over the procedure with me. When he was finished he came out to discuss the results. If you need a Gastroenterology doctor, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
Excellent Doctor! Care's about his Patients. Wonderful bedside manner. Soft spoken. Informative. Visits you before & after each procedure. Nurses speak highly of him. Nursing and office staff are all kind and polite. Never feel rushed. Need more Doctors like him.
I am giving Dr. Frederickson a 2 Star review but it is mostly for his office staff. The first time I saw him, I waited for over an hour to be seen. The appointment went well and he gave me samples for a new medication to help with my problem. After the samples were gone, I called to have him call me in a script. The pharmacy said my ins. Required a pre authorization. I spoke again with the staff who said they would speak to Dr. Frederickson. I asked to speak with him personally as an RN it’s easier for me to speak directly to the doctor and I had some questions. He never called and I never received the script for the new medication. I decided I would speak with him i person at my next appointment. I had a 9:30 am appt scheduled and left my home in plenty of time. I am 40 minutes away. There was construction on the highway and I was running later than I had hoped. I got to the office 7 min late and they refused to see me and told me I would have to reschedule. I walked out. After having to wait for an hour to be seen, this was unacceptable! I was still within my allotted 15 min time...they should have seen me! I won’t back!
My review is mostly about his staff. I met with Dr. Frederickson and had a positive experience. He listened to my concerns and gave me samples of a new medication to try. The medication was beginning to help and I was running low on samples so I called the office to have him call me in a script. My oharmacy called and said my insurance would not cover it all and I needed a pre authorization. I called and asked to speak to the doctor personally and requested a pre auth. He never called me and I neve received the medication. I figured I would try and speak to him at my next visit. My first visit I waited for over an hour to be seen. This visit was at 9:30 in the morning and I left my house in plenty of time. There was road construction that resulted in me being 7 min late. When I got to the window, I waited for 2 minfor someone to check me in. Then....I was told I had to reschedule. I was 10 min late for my 15 min appointed time. I was so angry. I won’t be rescheduling.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
