I felt like she had a biased attitude towards me because she treats my other family members. I think what others have told her made her very cold during our appointments.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bowie's for over 15 years and absolutely love her! She is patient and empathetic and always takes the time to listen to me, to address any concerns that I have, and recommends appropriate follow up where relevant. She makes me feel comfortable to discuss any topic with her and I never feel judged or rushed during our visits. I truly feel "heard", which is especially rare nowadays with all of the time constraints placed on doctors by the insurance companies.

This woman allowed my mother to sit on a possible cancer diagnosis for over a week. The amount of attitude I recieved from her was not only unnecessary, it was extremely unprofessional. Lisa Bowie, you need to work on your bedside manner. Raising your voice to a patient is unacceptable. I will not be seeing this doctor again and I suggest, if you would like to be treated as an individual and not a number, you do the same.

I am a patient of Dr. Bowie's and have been for a few years now. I am having medical problems and need to get a referral and be seen as soon as possible. This office has promised daily for weeks to do my referral, as I cannot get an appointment until they do. Every day they promise it will be done and every day it is not done. I had my specialist call to see if they could get them to do the referral and they told them that they will get to it when they can. I have reported them to the insurance company. Very uncaring and deceptive and resistant to patient needs.

Cannot get a referral for an issue that needs to be addressed right away. Office staff has been giving me the runaround for many weeks. Promises to have the referral done that day and then it isn't. Even the provider I need to see has tried and they say it's in a pile and they will get to it when they have time. Uncaring. Try to find a better doctor than this.

Dr. Bowie is fabulous! She sits and takes the time to talk and listen to her patients. I have never felt rushed by her or her staff. They are all extremely professional, yet friendly and approachable. I'm not sure if she is accepting new patients, but if she is and you're looking, I highly recommend her.

she's not thorough, seems disinterested could make a little bit more effort to knowledge the patient listen and engage with them

I was a patient for five years, I felt that she was rude and uncaring rather cold. Her PA was actually better than her. She missed something serious that another doctor discovered I felt she was immature and lacking in compassion and interest I would never recommend her. I moved to another doctor received much better care a world of difference.
