List of David C. Dredge's Reviews
Excellent doctor. Knowledgeable, great listener, addresses and explains concerns. Makes himself available. He has personally returned phone calls. He is approachable, caring, and dedicated to quality care. Very thankful to have Dr. Dredge as a part of my child's special care team. He has taken the time to learn my child's specific needs, help me to understand, and follows development to ensure needs are met. Very down to earth. I feel as though we are working together on behalf of my child. No sugar coating or gloom and doom, just experienced, intelligent, careful consideration.
Great, patient, articulate, and very caring doctor. As others have mentioned, he really takes time with patients and is not the least bit condescending. He is clearly highly intelligent and well informed. Answers all questions and listens kindly to concerns of parents. At the same time, he doesn't pretend to know all the answers, which I found refreshing. He was also very sweet to our little boy. It's no fun having to go to a pediatric neurologist, but Dr. Dredge was a huge comfort to us. A model of what a doctor should be.
Dr. Dredge is an amazing doctor. he clearly knows his stuff and he is excellent with the children. He immediately put them at ease so he was able to see the "real" child. I have recommended him to many other parents.
Dr Dredge has misdiagnosed my daughter two times I rather hear a doctor say he is not sure however this is his how we can follow up on your concerns. However he just said call if you ever have a concern. Not professional.
Our family was delighted to meet Dr. Dredge. His combination of patience and humor was a great match for our daughter who was facing a lot of mystery in her initial visit. He was superb at explaining his thoughts on what was going on for her and in helping us consider appropriate treatment options. His care was comprehensive, his concern was genuine and he is a fantastic listener. What a gem!
Great doctor! He is very friendly, kind, and through.
He was the best neuro I have ever had!0ut of the many other ones I went to see in the past, none of them acted so friendly, caring, considerate, spended lots of time with me instead of throwing my parents and I out the door fast as he/or she of another doctor would do.He answeres all of your questions throughly and will try to help you every way he can.He was the best neuro I have ever had.Eventhough I only went to him for 3 years since I am almost 21.He really showed he enjoys his job!For a second opinion doctor he suprised me by his professional manner.Wasent expecting such an awsome doc but,I guess I was lucky.in addition to that he not only has a wonderful additude towards parents he also trys to keep the patient at easeby making funny jokes. For example;when they measure your childs head for circumfrence and you wonder why. When you ask him he says "Their making a hat for yea".I would definitly reccomend him to anyones child or young adult. The bad part of what specialty area he is in only goes up to months old to 21 years old.:(Though I would definitly choose this neuro!Yes he is only 2 years expirenced but he knows the latest treatments and education on all diffrent neurological problems.Even if you live far away and want to go to Baystate Hospital for a second or third opinion neuro I would reccomend him.You are NOT waisting your time and he is just worth it. :)
HE IS THE BEST NEUROLOGIST I HAVE EVER MET!! He's friendly, kind, goofy at times, when it comes to finding whats wrong he will do anything he can to help,if he finds whats wrong or you have questions he will answer every one of them throughly or the best of his abilities. He also DOES NOT THROUGH YOU OUT THE DOOR like some neurologists would.I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE A FRIEND,FAMILY,OR A STRANGER!If you or your child or someone you know that has a baby, toddler, child, teen,or young adult that needs a neuro desperatly or is looking for one for a second opinion I would definitly choose him.He is new so he knows the latest on neurological issues,meds,therapies..etc.He also does accept new patients. If curious about him you can go to http://www.baystatehealth.com
HE IS AN EXCELLENT NEUROLOGIST!~ I choose him as my second opinion doctor and I was very impressed. He's kind, carring, very through, and acually answers your questions.Reason why I say this is because, the neurologist I had before had no manners.Dr.Gilmore would NOT suggest him ever, not even to my family! He would not answer questions and shove you out the door as fast as he could. But,Dredge is the total opposite he will spend as much time as you need it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
