List of Grace May D. Goncero's Reviews
Poor Communication between being a patient and Doctor relations. Won't send me a paper copy of my blood test results.. Had to go there in person multiple time to request a blood test order to the lab ..She never responded to my calls...not once...UNPROFESSIONAL to my opinion. After posting this Honest review..they Responded with a TRESSPASS NOTICE from this Facility. ALL the care about is Money...billing Insurance Companies lots of Money for 5 minutes Services...keep you in a waiting Room for half Hour. Vetenarians treats Pets much Better than these people treating Humans like Garage....I Love.my New Doctor at Valley Medical. Thank God .
Terrible experience. I am a health provider and am horrified by the lack of care by Dr. Grace Goncero. Would not recommend
Dr. Gonsero was by far the worst doctor I have ever had. She is nice and asks a lot of questions, but her ability to take the answers and reason out possible explanations or solutions to problems is terrible. She relies on tests only and is protocol-driven, meaning if you have something outside of the obvious, she will be of no help because she cannot think beyond the lines. After a year of suffering, I took my daughter to another doctor who solved the problem in one visit and set us up on a long term treatment plan. Dr. Gonsero said nothing was wrong. She also blatantly lied to us several times, and when we called for test results or new emergency situations, she never returned the calls. THE WORST!!!
I am leaving this review on here because I can't leave one on baystate's site ( can't find leave a review). I saw this doctor for over five years, at first she was very nice and then everything went downhill ( as I became an older patient). I went in for a physical, waited hour plus in the examination room and then got charged a copay for a physical ( called the office and found out, the doctor said the patient took too long). She refused blood work( had shared with doctor family history of having low Vitamin D, was told everyone in New England has low vitamin D)I was having body aches. Went to a different doctor and found out my vitamin D was very very low. She sent me to a breast plastic surgery ( the surgeon was very confused) instead of a breast specialist. She told me to keep taking my birth control that I was allergic to, I called my gyno and was asked to immediately stop taking the medication. I had a very nice NP at Northampton Baystate, but she left and I was passed onto this Doctor. I avoided doctors for a while after seeing her, due to anxiety of being around a doctor. I have moved on and found a different doctor at a different practice, I feel that patients need to be heard and they know their body best.
I have seen Dr. Goncero for approximately 6 years and she has made numerous disrespectful and odd comments. I should have changed sooner, but there is a shortage of physicians in this area, so I have continued under her care for the sake of convenience. Dr. Goncero has made inappropriate comments about my carrying mutliple psychiatric diagnoses (i.e., co-occuring depression, anxiety, and adhd) in the past, erroneously expressing that multiple diagnoses indicate greater severity. When my psychiatric provider was away and I had difficulty filling their prescription bc they'd written an incorrect date, Dr. Goncero had her nurse approach me in the reception area to say "this is the last time; Dr. Goncero can't help you any more." I was mortified for this inappropriate and deeply disrespectful treatment. I was also confused, as Dr. Goncero had filled this prescription in the past and the local crisis line said I should consult with my PCP or go to the Urgent Care Unit associated with Dr. Goncero's practice.
I saw Dr. Goncero twice. The second time she spent the whole time yelling at me that I didn't have enough respect for her. I was shocked. I had no idea what she talking about. Her tirade was bizarre and a little scary. I never went back. I think she needs a very good therapist.
I have a patient of Dr. Goncero for years! She is a doctor who listens well. After changing doctors three times prior, I find Dr. Goncero an excellent and intelligent choice.
She was covering for my regular Dr. the day I saw her. She seemed inconvenienced, barely examined me and I got more information about my condition on Web MD. Also have a regime of meds that works for me and she didn't want to order it, and after explaining that it works for me, she ordered lesser of the dosages and amounts. Recovery took longer. Would not recommend.
Dr. Goncero did not listen to my health requests nor read my chart. Was not able to meet my needs as a patient with a chronic condition and misdiagnosed my condition. I would not recommend this practice.
I was told I was diabetic. I have followed all advice. I am not new to diabetes. I asked for a referral to an endocrinologist. Have yet after a month to get an appointment. Called 6 days ago to get a script changed ( because of circumstances I ran out of glucose strips) and as of yet have not gotten a call back or a change. It was so important to get me on meds but when I need the supplies to keep track I cant get a simple renewal. The pharmacist has even called and gotten no response from the office. This isn't even a med. I need to check my levels to stay on track. Finding a new Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
