Dr Perlman is an extremely empathetic, highly intelligent, and thoughtful psychiatrist who is constantly keeping abreast of the quickly changing research in his field. For that and his ability to listen between the lines and teach you new ways to act and survive what is for me a major Mental Illness, I am so thankful that I have been able and still am working with him for the past 20 some odd years. He and his quick mind are still younger than springtime and may they stay that way for a long time to come. He is aces. Without him I would probably not be alive to write this.

Dr. Perlman is a humane man and mental health professional. I saw Dr. Perlman on and off for close to Thirty Years. As a young man and so forth. I think he always tried his best. That the issues of understanding the mind are almost insurmountable but he tried. Modern Psychiatry is in a state of flux and only gives what tools it can. As one of my favorite doctors once said, “we are really still in the dark ages of this science.”

I shall be eternally grateful for his intellect, his compassion, his sense of humor, and his very person ....... for he, at a crucial point in my life did save that life ...taught me (perhaps either of our knowledge at time!) the values of contemplative relaxation and openness ... He helped me be the person I am today: a vastly 'modified self' , a survivor ... one who came to value the thinking of the 'Kafkaesque' approach ... Thank you, Dr. Perlman

Dr. Perlman is a well-respected, well-read, intelligent man who will jump through hoops for you to get you the care, medications and/or procedures that you need. He is a no-nonsense type doctor who has been around the block and performs every one of his duties to the letter of the law. He makes me feel well taken care of and has provided me health care for over 30 years.

I have been seeing him for about 17 years. I have yet to meet ANYONE with better listening skills. He is an excellent problem solver and eager to be helpful in my life. I am Catholic and he has made me feel like one of his own. He has impressed me ao much I often wish I was Jewish!
