I visited Dr.Russ for tinnitus i am experiencing for first time. He simply checked my ear and said return next year. Nothing i did not understand anything. I requested to see another dr. Who would explain more but they refused because Dr Russ will not allow it. Not happy

After having Dr. Shu perform Nasal surgery many years ago I confidently made the decision to make an appointment with him for a months long throat issue I was having. After meeting with him for an initial consultation, he suggested I return for a more in depth and pervasive procedure to properly diagnose the issue. He suggested that I schedule that and a separate test with the front desk. When discussing appointments with the office staff, I was told I would need to take a Covid test. I declined and responded that I was not sick and would not take a test with Ethylene Oxide (EO) sprayed on the test stick as it is highly carcinogenic. I was then informed that Dr. Shu would not perform the needed procedure. I was then billed nearly $800 to "NOT" be treated by the Doctor, whom I will assume took The Hippocratic Oath; which in no version mentions "IF" my patient undergoes Covid 19 testing. I was told by a physician in the same building that each employee at that location HAD to be vaccinated and that there was no reason not to treat me as Dr. Shu as well as all his office staff were immune.

Saw him for 8 months trying to get rid of severe congestion & cough. He sent me to every possible specialist, did a vocal cord biopsy but never found the cause of the congestion & cough. He gave up. I don't think he's very passionate about medicine & lacks compassion. After my first few visits & a course of antibiotics, I still had the excess congestion & cough. He said I would have to quit smoking..... so I did! Every subsequent appointment (after telling him I still wasn't feeling better), he would tell me I needed to quit smoking& I would remind him that I DID - now 8 months ago. Doesn't instill a lot of confidence when he remembers nothing about your case even after more than 10 appointments?

I will admit some of the phone staff could use some coaching in how they should answer a professional office phone, but have no problem with Dr. Shu... he was pleasant , toke his time, and made me feel comfortable and at ease...

I would highly recommend Dr Shu. He has been my husband's Dr for about 6 years. Dr Shu has explained everything to us since day one . He has always taken his time and never rushed us through an appointment. He made sure we understood all options treatments and expected outcomes. Glad we were directed to him by our PCP!

Dr. Shu took a lot of time to explain my condition and then performed my surgery and took care of all of my follow ups. I am very happy with the time he took and his patience to explain everything, the staff was also for the most part wonderful and I never had to wait more then 5 minutes to be seen. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for an ENT
