Dr. Sawhney is clearly very experienced and knows a lot. I waited six weeks to see him and he re-affirmed what my PC provider told me. It appeared as I was getting ready to leave that he was overwhelmed with a lot of people to see that day. I hope to never see him again - not because I don't trust him, but because it would be preferable to get better and not need him or any other GI doctor. They have a very difficult job in that a lot of conditions there is no medical solution to - and people are looking outside of themselves for some kind of magic when in reality a person's choices and lifestyle have everything to do with GI health.

Did not even examine me. Just gave me medicine (not helping). He did not want a follow up appointment. Made assumptions about my condition (such as weight changes and such), and dismissed me. Very friendly, but I have to wonder how long ago and where he got a medical degree. I'm in severe pain and he just made assumptions without any type of validation. Ridiculous.

Dr. Sawhney is very smart and like a detective in finding out what's wrong with you. He is kind and funny...but serious about giving you good care.
