Ophthalmology's Online Review Report Card

Clean environment, competent staff, efficient management and caring interactions. I hate going to these places so I appreciate a job well done.

I've been a patient at Lahey Peabody patient for more than a decade and I can't say enough good things about most of the doctors, nurses and support staff I've dealt with. However, unless you have an 30 mins to an hour to waste on hold, it's almost impossible to get appointments by telephone. Using the online app is just as bad. Lahey asks it's patients to fill out an intake form for each appointment, even if you have several on the same day - a HUGE WASTE OF TIME, and now has its doctor's on a strict time allotment per patient, leaving little time to discuss your issues. I stay with Lahey only because I like my doctors and don't want to go through building relationships with new providers. I'm almost out of patience. Unless you have LOTS of time to waste take my advice and skip Lahey Peabody.

I want to thank Dr Birkett and the staff at Lahey Peabody for making my first major surgery very comfortable. He and the staff answered all my questions and made me aware of all that was going to happen and how I would feel at every stage of the surgery. Thank you! Thank you! Ken Anastasi

I understand that emergency rooms face lots of challenges. However I was very pleased with the reception and other attending nurses who helped me during my visit. Everyone was professional.

Staff there treated my father with a judgemental attitude because he is on Suboxone. My father went there because of an ongoing issue with a diagnosed gallstone and they treated him as if he was some junkie seeking pain meds

Worst experience of my life. I couldn’t leave my husband for the four days we were stuck in ER before being moved to the floor. Nurses Much more interested in eating behind the desk than attending to calls from patients. There is no urgency to care for patients in the ER. What I witnessed for these poor patients calling for help just like my husband. I wouldn’t leave my dog in this ER.

Opthamology Department sucks.....2 hour wait everytime!! I wish my father would find new eye care....this place is a joke...their care is disgusting!

This isn't regards to kara Dell Torchio nurse practitioner "" gastroenterology and I use that term loosely I've been seeing her for seven years now and she's completely useless all she tells me is that all you're doing everything the right way Larry but in fact she hasn't help me one bit do us all a good favor and do not see this doctor nurse practitioner or whatever you wanna call her what a terrible waste of my time I've had IBS now for seeing her for seven years and getting no results whatsoever she's not a very nice person I'd stay far away from this one thank you for your time no thanks to Cara

Lahey primary care provider would not treat my husband because he was the covering doctor and my husbands primary are doctor is out sick. My husband has been sick for over a week and his labs are off The covering doctor wants him to come in again and see a nurse practitioner or he will not treat him The coving doctor is not even going to see him and my husband was just seen This doctor is way to full of ego We are not looking for pain medication just an antibiotic

Don't go there with bulging disc back pain. All I needed was an iv push of strong ant inflammatory meds and steroids. Like I have had before. I am 63. The triage nurse was mean and grumpy. Everyone in the waiting room was talking about her. She just assumed I was drug seeking. Horrible experience. I told her not looking for drugs just needed the iv push. Dismissed me like I was a child. Go to Salem or Beverly ER
