I find the staff at the Peabody location have been pretty helpful and are definitely understanding of my needs and are a very Accepting environment

Don't ever go there for binge eating disorder. They are a total scam with 0 knowledge about that eating disorder. I have talked to untrained nutritionists with more knowledge than them. For anorexia and bullimia they are fine though. Went to their partial in patient program and was told to leave if I couldn't eat as much as they made the people with anorexia and bullimia eat, even though I told them it was a trigger for me. They totally had 0 understanding or sympathy. Don't go it's a waste of time and energy and will only make you feel worse.

I'll give 2 stars because the employees were mostly pleasant and the atmosphere was inviting. The rest of my visit here was a massive disappointment.I called looking for a therapy referral. Walden does not offer individual therapy. Only inpatient and intensive outpatient (aka group therapy). I clearly stated I was not interested in those services. I only want individual therapy. I've had a hard time finding a provider and was simply checking to see if they could refer me. The woman on the phone insisted I come in for an evaluation and go from there. She said the clinician may be able to point me in the right direction.I rearranged my whole work day to make the appointment. I spent an entire hour in the waiting room, except for the 5 minutes where my vitals were taken. The clinician met with me for 5 minutes...in the waiting room. I felt it was incredibly unprofessional to talk about my sensitive information in such an exposed area. I told her I'm not interested in Walden's programs. I just need a therapy referral. She said she didn't see a point in evaluating me, but would see if she could give me some names.Even though I was clear from the get go that I didn't want Walden's services, they insisted I get evaluated, asked me personal question in a public location, then refused to evaluate me. I drove an hour round trip to get there and spent another hour in the waiting room twiddling my thumbs just to get the name of a therapist that someone could have told me via phone/email. Disorganized and unprofessional. Don't waste your time.
