List of Steven Leckie's Reviews
I would give these people 0 stars if it was possible. They won't let my son see the doctor because they are claiming they have not received a referral. He had an appointment with Dr. Beck, and was turned away because they said they had not yet received the referral. Strange, because my sister had an appointment with Dr. Lecke approximately 4 weeks ago, and her insurance failed to send the referral, but she was seen anyway, and then billed for the visit. Why the double standard? I have been calling their office for over two weeks now inquiring about whether or not they had received the referral for my son, and they were freely sharing the information that a referral had not been received, but when I called there today, frustrated because it has been 14 business days with no resolution, they told me they could not give me any information, because I am not the patient. My son's primary care doctor says they have sent the the referral, but these people have offered absolutely no assistance in getting this resolved. These people should be ashamed to call themselves doctors. They turn away a patient who can't lift his arm, because of an insurance referral, instead of trying to work with the primary care doctor's office to get something done. They are obviously more concerned with money then they are with helping people. Terrible. Rude. Useless. Fools. Next stop, the attorney general's website.
Just got out of surgery, Couldn't be any happier with how things went. I justvwant to thank Dr. Leckie and his team. Very professional and well trained in what they do. Would highly recommend for anyone suffering with back pain.
I really appreciate Dr. Leckie's friendly demeanor and excellent listening skills. After a thorough analysis of my situation, we've had a productive conversations about treatment options that didn't focus solely on surgery. I am relieved to find an orthopedic surgeon and a practice whom I trust and feel confident using and recommending.
Dr. Leckie was very professional, thorough, and pleasant to consult with, and perhaps most importantly, completely resolved my back pain post surgery - still pain-free 3 years later and I run 5 times per week!
I broke my back in April in a major way and I was lucky enough to be assigned Dr Leckie and his PA Amy. I had 4 surgeries (2 due to falls while recovering) and was in the hospital for 4 and a half months. He is so knowledgeable and explains everything to you in a way you can understand. He is also a perfectionist and wouldn't rest until he knew he was giving me the best chance for recovery. Amy was/is also wonderful. I still have regular appts at their office and all their staff are so nice. I can't thank them all enough. I'd give them all 10 stars if I could. It has been 2 weeks since I have been home and I am already able to do most everyday things including walking around stores and my neighborhood.
Dr Leckie and his staff are all knowledgeable, informative, professional and friendly. Dr Leckie is a highly skilled spine surgeon that sets patients needs as his highest priority. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of spine surgery.
My wife and I have both seen Dr. Leckie. My wife was told she didn't need any surgery or a cortisone shot. She need to get PT and he was correct. I needed a discectomy on L5 S1. He actually told me to wait a month to see if my condition improved from the last cortisone shot and maybe not need any surgery. Unfortunately I needed surgery. He was excellent and truthful with every question I ask. He told me he couldn't guarantee the nerve damage would heal. It could take up to a year to find out. He gave me 100% of his attention while his assistant took notes. I had the surgery in Feb of 2020. The surgery went well. He again answered my questions before and after my surgery. I would absolutely recommend Dr Leckie.

Doctor Leckie took good care of my dad at a time of crisis. He had back surgery years ago in Boston and needed a re-do. Everything went well and he's doing better.
Dr. Leckie fixes what others had said was not fixable. I feel great.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
