I apologize, I don’t know who Dr Nielsen’s technician is or what her proper title is. You can look up my name to see who assisted him yesterday, April 1. Towards the end I asked her if my eyes remained about the same since my last visit 5 years ago. She stated Yes, they were about the same. She SHOULD HAVE stated “you should speak to Dr Nielsen about that.” When I asked Dr Nielsen the same question, he had a totally different response. He explained that my right eye is considerably worse. She’s not a doctor, she should not be passing along information like that. Going home, I was very upset regarding that situation. My point is she’s not qualified to give out information they have no business giving out. I would appreciate not having that same technician again. If needed, I can go to a different location. Other than leaving there without my prescription, my time with Dr Nielsen was great. p.s. I prefer to be called “Deborah.” Deborah

My latest visit going in I knew one eye had a problem, so this was not a routine exam. The exam was thorough, with the doctor taking all the time needed. She had good but realistic diagnosis, with a way forward. I am grateful. The real noteworthy experience...and I can't overstate how much this matters...was the professional and welcoming care given by all the staff from front office to technicians. Not only was my experience with them remarkable, I noticed how they treated and supported each other.

My experience at Neilsen Eye Center was very positive. I had not had an eye exam in 9 years, so I was way overdue. Catherine at the front desk was helpful, friendly, accommodating and patient. The tech (sorry, I did not get her name) was thorough, knowledgeable and very kind. Thank you for welcoming me back! Larry Fay

I was pleasantly surprised with the state of the art equipment, been 40 yrs of eye exams And was impressed! Every employee from front desk to the exam and tests were pleasant and seemed sincerely full attention to a few questions I had. I am glad to find this office, I will recommend here to my family and friends. You should positively come here if you have any eye concerns. .
