Dr. Hamoda is great with children. As a parent of a child with high anxiety, it can be extremely hard to find a doctor that they are willing to go to, open up and discuss their feelings and symptom changes with. What started as a first meeting with her hiding in a corner of a waiting room ended with her laughing and willing to come back.He manages her medicine exceptionally well. He is always available to quickly help resolve any issues with the pharmacy, even on weekends. Normally we see him at the Norwood behavioral health office. Through quarantine, he was available via zoom.

I'd give zero stars if possible...late for every appointment and spent no time at all with the patient...

Consistantly late for appointments and impossible to get a hold of...dont take on new patients if you dont have time to see them.

He is too busy for patients with actual mental illness. Dropped us as a client and now wont refill our childs much needed scripts.

Dr. Hamoda is extremely knowledgeable, empathetic and a great psychopharmacologist. He has office hours on Saturdays which is convenient for families.

I recently saw Dr. Hamoda in his Norwood office (Norwood Behavioral Health) this is a private office not in the hospital setting, the insurances that he accepts are a little different than at the hospital however I was happy to make an appointment and avoid the travel and hassle of going to boston. The office was nice, it is embedded in a pediatric medical office, it was clean and private. The receptionist who checked me in was very nice and helpful. Dr. Hamoda greeted me in the waiting room, he was very pleasant and on-time for my appointment which I appreciated. My visit lasted about 50 minutes and I felt very comfortable talking with Dr. Hamoda.
