I would like to thank Doctor Lisa M Murry for figuring out what was wrong with my vision. I knew If I kept looking the problem was not my age!!!! It was just matter of finding Doctor Lisa. Thank you to Emma, Sarah and everyone else who made my office visit a great experience as well.

This is LITERALLY the worst Dr office I have ever encountered. I never write bad reviews, however, I felt the need to. Had an appointment in Oct with Dr Stark...she requested an MRI. Heidi, her assistant has yet to call me back 3 months later... No MRI..no referrel. Left dozens of voicemails and requested another visit as my eye has been swollen shut. No call backs nothing. Went to another office. Dont let the " Boston Ophthalmic " trick you..associated with Boston...but far from the best of the best. Horrible service all around. EDIT: 2 months after surgery, and after bad scars and damage, the lump on my eye came back. Had to go to Boston Mass Eye and Ear to get this issue redone and fixed! Careless doctors and waste of surgery and scarring. Stay away.

On my recent trip to Cape Cod, I developed a condition in one eye, causing flashes of light. The call center got me a same day appointment upon my calling at 10:00 am. Dr. Reed diagnosed the problem at my 2:15 appointment and performed surgery that very day. They sent me on my way with instructions for a follow-up. Exceptional service.

Dr. Chan and her staff rectified cateracts in both of my eyes and were very thorough, professional and caring. I'm happy!

Waited for over an hour for the eye doctor. At one point there was 5 of us sitting in the waiting area. This place has no consideration for its customers. I would recommend finding a different place.

My experience at Opthalmic Consultants of Boston has been very disappointing. They're generally unfriendly. Feel like your nothing but a number. Greeted by unfriendly staff. Dr. has been polite but I feel like I'm just a number not a person. Dr. Moon was very cold and matter of fact in informing me my eye pressure was still high after the laser surgery and it was not successful in lowering the eye pressure and I would need to use eye drops in at least one eye. I realize there's no guarantees, but it was very disappointing since to me, an artist, Glaucoma is serious. I had hoped to avoid having to use drops for Glaucoma. Felt rushed out. It's more like a factory. When I returned home and had a question and tried to call, no one answers at any of the numbers at any of their numerous locations. Your call goes to a call center. I was on hold for 50 mins. with no answer so I drove all the way back to the Sandwich office to let them know politely that their phones weren't working and the front desk staff gave me attitude! I told them not being able to call a dr's office and get your call answered was unacceptable! I shouldn't end up the bad guy in this!

My wife and I have been patients of Ophthalmic Consultants in Sandwich for years. I agree with the reviewer that described this practice as a mill... I've seen some great doctors here, but they have too many patients and not enough staff and it does feel like a deli counter at lunch time. My wife needed to see a doctor today February 4th because she's having headaches - there earliest appointment at any office (we are willing to travel) is March 12th - how ridiculous! We also have a home in Florida and called a big practice here - how's next Wednesday sound! That's great service! This isn't the first time that this has happed where we can't be seen - my mom was gardening and scratched her eye and was in pain... I called Boston Ophthalmic & only after not taking no for an answer & insisting that she be seen... were we able to get in the next day! Not many choices on the Cape or this place wouldn't be in business.

BEWARE!!I was scheduled for cataract surgery with Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston in Sandwich. They have completely failed to complete the most basic tasks prior to my surgery. Had my consultation 5 weeks ago and my PCP just got pre-op physical yesterday. And with only 9 calendar days left for an appointment with said PCP it cannot happen as they are completely booked out. I called that ophthalmic office, several times to inquire about the paper work delay and was pushed off as if I was worrying unnecessarily. "don't worry it will be going out soon". The administration manager was supposed to call me back today. It is 4:30pm now so I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen either. So now I have to find another provider as I have lost all confidence in this organization and will not let them touch my eyes. A complete waste of time and I paid them for another eye exam specifically for the surgery. They better make me a rebate so I can pay the next doc!

WARNING!If you value your sanity, avoid this office.  I am over 70 and have never in my life visited a more poorly run office.  I've had to go here about a dozen times over the years and NOT ONCE saw the doctor (or anyone else) within an hour of my appointment.  NO ONCE.  They simply do not care about the convenience of the patient and will let you sit there endlessly without anyone even coming out to apologize for the delay.Go elsewhere.
