They will discharge you from their patient list if you don't go donate your yearly copay for a few years in a row. Now I'm stuck needing a pre surgery physical and they consider me a new patient which which they are not accepting anymore.

Dr. Fay doesn't communicate well with female patients. He is often demeaning and he didn't bother to tell me about a medical condition that I found out about when I changed providers. He cajoled my husband when I spoke to him about a serious concern of mine. He is not open to new options for tests. Sadly this led to another medical condition going undiagnosed. Overall he's just not a good doctor.

Excellent Dr, never had any issues. Been with him a long time and would highly recommend, everyone has bad days or issues with their Doctor, I find it hard to believe he has anything less than 5 stars. My only complaint is the Prostate check, nothing like a finger wave with large fingers....😳😳

I am 46 years old and this doctor was my first adult medicine doctor I had him for over 20 years. Approximately five years ago I did a lot of traveling for work and had to cancel my physical(which was scheduled eight months in advance by them not me). And was dropped without even being notified until recently when I needed to see my doctor and they told me I was no longer a patient. I then asked how do I become reinstated as he is the only doctor I’ve ever known and they said we have to ask if he is accepting you. They then called me back a day later and said yes he will take you back on as a patient and scheduled me a physical for February of next year. I have since been diagnosed with COVID-19 and have been told by the ER and technicians to contact my primary for further instructions. At which point I called Dr. Fays office and was told I am technically not his patient until I’ve been seeing for a non-medical emergency? I don’t understand this but I will be looking for a new primary care doctor today so thank you very much Baystate health for your concern of patients.
